Rita, if you're talking about Enfield coming up to Div 1....you are dreaming. U could barely hit over 100 runs in a game and could barely restrict opposing teams to under 250. Sort your club out before you hit Div 1 champ. May aswell promote the C grade to Div 1

Last time Enfield were in Div 1 they were a joke. :lol: A.Ryan 'leading' them into battle, falling over every few balls in his delivery stride and going off about it being the matting's fault after every 'gutser' like some rabid Tourette's sufferer.. :roll: :lol: Richie Marshall remembers them fondly too - it was his first season in C&CCA and playing Enfield first up he took 10-fa & PV won outright without raising a sweat . Then in the return leg after Xmas he also took 10-fa in yet another ridiculously easy outright.. :roll:

And almost 10yrs later they're still a joke, except they've never been close to coming back into Div 1 - and with trophy-hunting hero's playing in the lower divisions instead of challenging themselves against decent opposition, it's little wonder the reasons why.. :roll: ;)

MATE, the only thing I can hit when bowling short is my own toes.........
