cbcoc v pembroke - no bugger all about either side just having a guess
seaton v pooraka - think this will be close, seatons senior players will be in the A grade not Bs like said
flinders v mitcham - match of the round would like to see mitcham win but cant see it happening
portland v smosh (portland home game now)
para hills v golden grove - similar to CBCOC v Pembroke no nothing about either just a guess

Round 1 is shaping up to be a cracker

cbcoc v pembroke - bit of a unknown, but dont' like cbc losing douglas and hegarty.
seaton v pooraka - not relfective of seaton - more so hearing some big things about pooraka!!!! Think they will surprise plenty!
flinders v mitcham - flinders to get up at home, but will be a cracker. is Flanigan playing or did he end having a crack at SANFL?
portland v smosh (portland home game now) - Great test for us going in as a underdog against the potential measuring stick. Would be a huge result to coem away with the win agaisnt portland. Sure to be a bit of feeling in this one - can't wait!
para hills v golden grove - Para Hills beating SPOC is no small fest - quality side at times. Until hanson left had them marked as the big improvers. Still don't think they'll be as bad as everyone predicts. Any side with Flynn, Thach, frick etc running round will trouble plenty of sides!!!!

CBCOC v Pembroke - both teams have apparently lost a few of their best players from last year, so could both struggle.
Seaton v Pooraka- Pooraka coming up a div will look to impress rd 1.
Flinders v Mitcham - big challenge, Flinders Park apparently very confident going into this season with their inclusions.
Smosh v Portland - also heard Smosh were impressive on the weekend, and their side from last year was unlucky to miss finals.
Para Hills v Golden Grove - Think PH will bounce back after a disapointing 2010.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Alot of bullsh!t talk in the pre-season, i'm looking forward to seeing how SMOSH go this year, they havn't been shooting the mouth of like some, just going about their business quietly which is a good thing.
I know what its like being at a club that talks the talk & fails to walk the walk, the Portland v Smosh should be a beauty, looking forward to watching a great game of footy. SMOSH 1-10.

About 5'7", fair hair, about 70kg. ;)

Seriously, had a couple of niggles, plus got married a couple of weeks ago so haven't seem much of him lately, but I'm sure he will be an asset once fit again.

Choccies wrote:GG went out to Salisbury for a triple header trial and there were some mixed results for us. C's/D's played first and to be honest I didn't see alot of goals scored for either side. The B's played at 3pm and despite the fact that our side was made up of mostly C grade and under 18's we had a real dip, as did Salisbury who I believe were down in numbers too and scores were about even I think, but more importantly we had a fair crack for a young squad and I was happy. The A graders were unimpressive in their hit out and Salisbury showed they could have a good year as they easily won this one. We just lacked intensity, our manning up was terrible and we were no threat around goals. Fair to say the coach was unimpressed after the game so we have to turn it around quick before next weeks game against Para Hills. We will get a fair few guys back for round 1 but we certainly looked below average...
We got a draw for the B Grade mate, good solid game of footy that one.

Are we gonna hear about these two points all year????? Flinders Park appealled and were granted two points. Not their fault SAAFL changed the goalposts after they had recruited

Playing my GF at Pooraka this week apparently the footy club has lost more players than gained.
Can see them struggling personally but time will tell.
Looking 4wd to Mitcham recriuts playing going to be a big game and we have the capabilities to win
