Type & Herder, thanx for the warm welcome.

Where do I hail from? Well that would be telling.
Just let me say that I hail from a club that prides itself on history and success; not bs and bullies.
You guys get no grief from me.
There are two sides out there today, only one is playing cricket. Us of course.

this is what i was referring to LM... just noticed that Rockstar has gone missing, so it goes to show that the mods are indeed doing a great job.

Unless someone is being a sh!t stirrer they slip under the radar, the mod team is volunteers that try to just see that the site gets used in the correct manner.

No offence rita but 90% of your posts you just seem to be sooking :? always going on about being bullied, always going on about how posters are treating you, always saying how you contribute to good cricket talk yet all you post about is how you are being treated!

Personally, i think it should remain as it is. It will always been know to people as "churches" anyway, and thats what gives it a sense of uniqueness or sepearation from other community cricket assoc, its easily recognised.
Don't see how people can think that by changing a name you will attract new players to a comp
You want players, go out and actively seek them, set up a contingency plan, do some hard yards.

totally agree PG, the only thing a name change will do (IMO) will make the teams that came over from Ind. Central feel
like its their comp. too. But IMO it already is! Imagine an association wothout Fitzroy, NEK, Ross Smith, Seaton ect?
How boring.

A name change to me is the least of our worries. What we need is the ass. to form a sub committee to look at the
future and come up with some fresh ideas on how to save our comp. Then, the sub committee can go back to the
exec. and its members and come up with a few solutions.

this needs to ge done NOW. But it has to come from the exec.
