Yeah it's all looking positive! There was a good crowd out there last night too.

I will be keen to see how they go against a top 4 side from last year to see where they are really at. But, some very promising signs at Shark Land

It is always dangerous for any team to talk themselves up before the season actually starts. Some coaches would prefer that nothing was said at all. However the fun of being a supporter is enjoying talking up your own team which shouldn't be lost after all we do play and watch footy because it is fun, we just need to be carefull how much we say.
The Sharks have only played one preseason game against an A6 side which we won convincingly but it was not the fact that we won that has got supporters excited but the way that it was won. Last year we lacked in many parts of the game even when we were playing in a game that we should have won. The game against Colonel Light showed that we can overcome these problems against some sides which we could not last year. The real test will be when we come up against teams in our own league.
The juniors, U14's and U16's, have both played two trial games each against Myponga, Hackham and Port Noarlunga. Both grades won all of their games convincingly and are looking greatly improved from the underperforming side that they were last year.
It was great to being playing footy under lights too. Getting lights at Shark Park good enough to host night games would go a long way in making footy far more popular in Aldinga.

marion, morphy park, hackham, and cove, cove is the only one i didn't mark down as a win. I'm sure thats what you guys would mark down after your strong pre season form. any night games this year?
