So goodbye ponting, haddin, both husseys, krejza, lee, tait just to start with.
Guys like paine, okeefe, cummins, warner etc need to be playing now

Jim, constantly you and I are on the same page with this one. I completely agree. We need to have a different approach now that we're not at the top of the tree. I think CA will try and coast along and move these guys out graciously. But realistically if Tim Nielsen wants to keep his job, and thinks the WC is the long term goal, then we need to get 4 years of international cricket into the list you've mentioned.

Ultimately, what's the point of keeping the old guys in and perhaps winning a home series against England, NZ or West Indies when a few losses here and there wont hurt us providing they show some vision in building for the WC in 2015/2016?

sort of agree with what you guys are saying but if, say a mike hussey is making runs everytime he walks out there you cant drop him on the basis that he wont be around come 2015/16

Depends. Do you want to rebuild for a genuine push for the cup in 2015?

if a guys making runs - good on him, but if he isnt the future - eg - not going to be in anymore then 1 WC then i would push for younger players and develop for future WC success

Pretty hard to take wickets when you are bowling the 40th and 42nd Overs. Poor post.

He only bowled those overs for one reason, he can't bowl.

Was it not you who labelled him a 'poor mans Cam White'

Yes, in Test Cricket. But in regards to White he has gone backwards at a rapid rate and I disgaree with you mate Smith can bowl but won't develop if not given the opportunity. Same goes for Paine and Ferg.

i think he retires from ODI and focuses on test cricket, give him 12 months-18 months to try and get the magic back.

Haddin - gone get Paine in there.

im guessing if krezja gone then straight swap for smith?

Haddin was our leading run scorer (or is this more of a reflection of our "batsmen")
