Lets look at the facts..
Never been reported, never been warned. Threw out one 'F' Bomb in the middle of a sentence that came purely out of frustration and emotion.
Didn't swear directly to the umpire, didn't swear at or to a player.
Semi Final - emotions run high, intense game, IMPORTANT game.
Was honest, admitted to the swear word, was apologetic, didnt hide from the fact, yet still the PDCA give him a game!?!
Mean while in the Grade 4 game not 100m away, we nearly have a couple all in brawls, swear words and abuse fly left right and centre, very heated, and no reports!!! WHERE IS THE CONSISTANCY!?!?!
They had there mind up before anything was said.. I dont know what to say really as i was confident he would get off... Going to be a interesting night next wed as there could be a few of us not playing in pdca anymore...its just a joke that it wasnt a warning and more of a joke the tribunal admitted it was extreme..well thats why your the ******* tribunal, to be able to overturn stupid reports or downgrade it or suspended sentence...******* jam your protical... I know 3 or 4 of us are out of pdca as we speak so bring on sat....
I know what your saying mate, we went into the tribunal and said nothing but the truth about what happened, and it got us sweet FA.
We spent over 5 hours at the tribunal and it was as clear as day that the tribunal had already made their mind up on who the guilty party was.
I think Duane should have got off with no punishment at all, im sure we have all said what he said at some stage in our playing careers.
BUT i think Rosies thought the tribunal was going to be easier than it was, i tried to warn use that you were going to need more than just Duane as they were always going to back their umpire in, it was coming from experience. I still cant believe you didnt try and get some Angle Vale players their to profess how much of a non event it really was.
