Last time i saw SF he was looking like one of the guys out of grumpy old men !!!!!! ;)
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Yes mate i think they are currently just rehearsing in front of the mirror at home...
How do they prepare themselves for such an epic match?
Do they get as nervous as the players?

from the sounds of it the only thing donny would be nervous about is how many people he can get in his black book....does anyone know how the brahma boys go with donny because he certainly doesnt like the rosie boys....

Yeah we have a big day planned for him tomorrow. I have booked him in for an hour's massage first, then a tour of the new pitch before he gets all he can eat and drink at the club. Do u think this will help our cause?? OR should we just get catchit his cans!

Or have they been banned by the club?

I thought this was answered well already SF. But just in case u missed it we have an injured leg spin bowler playing as a batsman. We finally have everyone available for semi's and so Rick didnt need to play. He has surgery in the off season and is already planning next season. Definitely no ill feeling anywhere OR no ban from forum. Dissapointed there hasnt been any discussion about the actual games this week. Everyone sledging each other on a faceless environment. We certainly know we have a tough game ahead. Rosies Top 7 is as good as I have played against for years. I am looking forward to finally being able to hit a boundary again. I assume the oval catchit is nice and fast. We have played our last 4 at either greenwith or Smithfield so the batsman are looking forward to getting value for shots. As for Gr 2 - Central united have been pretty awesome for the year. They are a very aggressive batting side and our boys will need to bowl tight. hopefully win the toss and make 200 to put them under some pressure. Anyone else with some opinions on cricket?

Finally someone from Brahma who tells it as it is, no one else had put it as good as you Honda.
Why would play an injured player in finals, he must be able to bat.
Not sure about faceless most guys know who is who.
It should be a good final in grade 1 as both teams were fighting most of the season for top spot, I will be sure to call in and have a look.
Grade 2 it could also be a close final, Units have not been in the best of form for the last 2 minor rounds but did bounce back well last weekend as good sides do, my money will be on Units.

Great point mate, I actually wrote a lengthy preview and summary of both teams this morning but it crashed when I went to submit it. My grandmother passed away during the week so I'll be at a funeral tomorrow so I'll have to wait til Friday. It will probably be more relevant once we hear how Duane's appeal went.

Would imagine particularly with this rain the ground will be reasonably slow actually. The grass is a bit longer, looking very lush. But the boundaries will still be with in reach ;)

In grade 2 no offence to BL, but surely CU will go all the way? Over the past two seasons they have appeared to just go from strength to strength.

As for any other cricket talk, well i really don't want to talk about grade 4.. bad habit of saying something that will come back to bite me on the a$$!!!!

Agree with Honda, R&C best 7 are quality, will take a mammoth effort to beat the R&C juggernaut that started the year favourites and go into the grand final the same. The key will be to bat first and post 200 plus, especially on their quick surface, and back our bowlers in.

Feltus on standby to replace Morton if all goes sour at tomorrow nights hearing.

Feltus bowled 12 on the trot with good pace on the weekend in grade 4 with no luck at all.
