Has Duane or when will he hear of his final sentence from the PDCA tribunal?

Heard a rumour that Merlin Amos and Don Pearce are umpiring the Grade 1 Grand Final this week.

Thurs night is the hearing...
You wouldnt know who was umpiring but nice try...
you seem to be spending abit of time on here, any chance you will be seen back at pdca next year?

Dont be surprised about the two umpires rumoured to be umpiring either. Bob and Alf have had their fair share of Grand Finals.
I did run into a parking inspector that issued me with a parking ticket and he told me he his name was Ronald McDonald Pearce. I told him in no uncertain term to 'Pearce Off' and to shove his ticket...

Just on Duane's tribunal... heard Danny got 2 weeks and 2 weeks suspended for what he said last game!!!

Surely he was talking to himself!?!

nah he was def giving it to bob all the way off the field...
If duanes was even close to that we wouldnt fight it...not even in the same ball park...and i bet danny has been up before so now i am convinced duane will recieve a suspended sentence..well he better..

Good question...both sides imo should be able to vote on which umpires do it....emotions are going to be running high and both teams dont want a power freak ruining it..

A few years back we had an ump that hated us and doesn't mind letting us know. He ripped us off stupidly so I wrote a 3 page essay complaining and saying we never want him again.
The next week, sure enough he was at our game with a huge grin on his dial, he ripped us off stupidly again and loved it, I wrote a wonderful report for him saying how much he had improved from the week before and how happy I was with his performance....................we didn't get him agian for 3 years after that

Good question...both sides imo should be able to vote on which umpires do it....emotions are going to be running high and both teams dont want a power freak ruining it..

Common sense would suggest the Brian Bullen Medal winner and the runner-up should get the gig.

LM thats very funny.... but i cant see why both clubs cant have any input into who does the GF as long as they both agree....i would like to know the stats on what percentage of reports donny has made in div 1 in the games he has umpired....by the sounds of him being a control freak im sure the number of times he has put people in his trusty black book would be high....

If ya cant beat them join them...thats a classic... And another reason umpires shouldnt see any reports..

LM thats very funny.... but i cant see why both clubs cant have any input into who does the GF as long as they both agree....i would like to know the stats on what percentage of reports donny has made in div 1 in the games he has umpired....by the sounds of him being a control freak im sure the number of times he has put people in his trusty black book would be high....
