PS Think ive pretty much figured out who you are Red Magpie...batted 6 or 7 on Saturday and one of the very few who fielded in the inner circle on the Sunday...very interesting.

incidently will you be playing on the weekend? I am actually being serious will you?

I'm sorry I seem to have got under your skin but I feel like all you have done recently is come on here and slagged off our club, and I am going to respond everytime you do. If you stop doing it I promise I will stop responding.

And yes I am playing.

Sorry to disapoint you but a few reasons why this is untrue
1stly at the Lodge the coach is chairman of selectors and as such has final say on any selection throughout the grades, regardless of what the captain requests although that is taken into consideration
2ndly the change was not only supported but wanted and Masha is an important member of the A Grade squad
As Groover mentioned the coach has been a fill in player and in all honesty been looking for a way out of playing for a number of weeks. If you knew any history on the player you would know they are a bowler who currently can not bowl and has upcoming surgery booked in. Due to not really enjoying playing as a bat and being in constant pain, the fill in role has been to assist the club to limit changes whilst other players have been unavailable and the plan was to cease playing much earlier in the season.

Much more boring that some people would have you believe and if anyone does have an issue with just coaching for finals they have not voiced it at the club

If you were not overly keen to play why wouldnt you present an opportunity to a young fella in the Bs instead of filling the hole yourself?

haha good try but nope

Not a chance you reckon? come on mate i am sure he would nominate himself to be dropped but in hope for someone to say dont be silly mate we want you to be apart of this premiership chance...not to be i guess..

a different guy might look at it like that but not him he is not about the individual and is all about the club as any coach should, if more clubs had members with that attitude theyd be better off too

Have a flick thorugh the Brahma B's scorebook, unfortunately not a lot of young players in there at the moment. The youngest of the bastman Mills has been blooded in the A grade all year and the club are confident he will become a very good cricketer, the only other 'young' players are a spin bowler and would not be given a fair bowl with so many bowling options in the A's currently and the otherplayer has only just risen from the C Grade recently thus not being possible otherwise that option would have been favoured

I was talking about myself in general, not the dismissal. Anyone who bowls 25 overs straight then takes the gloves and keeps superbly for the rest of the day and then bats well up the order deserves a bit of respect! We were calling him Superman at one stage!
