It's not that difficult, it's a yes or no answer, I'm sure you'll get full support from the other PDCA clubs when it comes time for grading after you've been dicking most of them around.

Surely LM your not taking on what is written on here as gospel???

There is a turf pitch at Brahma.. Adios!

When a BL committee person gets on here and makes such a statement, then criticises Groover for saying it's a false statement one tends to wonder what is going on, we're trying to begin preparations for next season and it makes life a little easier knowing what grade we'll be in.

There are only 3 CRICKET committee people on here regularly. No one else matters. As Brown dog says there is no concrete at Harrow Rd and we dont intend playing at Greenwith again

Oh i wasn't talking about just you... I was hoping that he would see what EVERY player thought of him. He thinks that he is the king.. and that people like him. This should sort that out.

What annoyed me the most over the weekend was the fact the fat p**** seemed more interested in the Grade 4 pitch and getting the grade 4 game going than worrying about his own game!

Lost count of the amount of times he took out our umpires to inspect the pitch/conditions, then even came over before the start of play to make the final call on the pitch! :? MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!

I don’t know what to say in this situation I’m in at the moment.
I have played cricket at club level for 15 years with 7 years in grade 1 and never had a report or warning for anything.
All I said to don after being given out was " Are you serious" With his reply being in his harsh voice " I am, you’re out" my response was "that’s a joke".
Now if I said to Don " you are a joke" I would think a report would be valid but I never said anything to discriminate him at all.

I have known Don for years now and never thought he would report anyone for something as petty as this.
We hear worst then this most weeks when a player doesn’t like a call that the umpire has made.
Thursday is just too far away I want to know now what the outcome is going to be.

Maybe boycotting a grade 1 gf might get the mess through...

Tough spot mate. I think everyone here knows you from playing with you or against you, whether it be for indoor or outdoor, and I believe that you have the support of not only your team mates, but from other clubs too (prob not brahma for this week :p). I believe you will get off. From what I heard I was on report the game against AV with Donny and they threw it out, and i said 1000 times worse than you did. Good luck to you at the hearing, I don't think you will need it tho.

Browny25 so if the umpire in question dont like you he has the power to say you said this or that report you and you have to cop it....

no wonder people are leaving pdca and lots wont play in it either....

No he doesnt have the right to back chat to players at all, otherwise thats just a one way street.

Umpires dont sign up to be abused though either.

Anyhow, i think the umpire in question is a "special" case.... :)

You just need to plead your case and stay in control of yourself. I spoke to an umpire yesterday who told me you swore at him twice so that is obviously his side of the story, still petty.
We all know Don and what he is like, a control freak. Good luck with the tribunal, I am sure everyone is behind you and hopefully sanity prevails.

You think...if duane or russel get games over this i am not that interested in playing in the pdca...on principal.. I reckon sals west and a couple other clubs would get behind there team mates in the same situation... If duane was getting a game for 3 warnings then so be it.....p carmen had to sit at our game on sat watching what was happening on the other oval and must of been pulling his hair out...and yet donny did nothing about it, but was quick to inspect the pitch....gutless prick..

I agree its a principal thing but to forfeit a grade 1 GF, fight like you have never fought before for your team mate and your club, we all know that if he was not abusing Don in a boisterous manner he should have no case to answer but its Don, enough said there, its all been said before.
I also agree that P Carman looks as though he has been dealt a tough hand but he did have 3 warnings.
I am very surprised Don didnt take things into his own hands on the other oval because I have seen him do it in the past, maybe he had already got his pleasure as he had a name in his book already.
I totally agree with your last comment.

I don't know you and have never played against you mate but at the end of the day no one has the right to challange an umpire. They are alway's right even if you think different. Good luck!

Just quickly catchit be real mate no one in there right mind play's cricket all year to boycott a grand final.

Good luck to ss ... if he has never been reported b4 and this being such a minour incedent should very easily get off , i would like to know however why they offered him and early plee OF 3 GAMES gee wizz for saying THATS A JOKE (anyone would have thought he told the umpire to get ****ed) ???? could maybe understand if he had a bad record , but fair dinkum do these umpires go through some screening test? cat scan? b4 they are allowed to umpire a game or can they just put there hand up , also if this duzz get thrown out surley there should be a black mark against donny's name and by the sounds of things he should already have about 6-7 black marks next to his name already , come on pdca if a player can have a bad record and that bad record can cause him to get more games how many chances duzz an umpire get????? THAT IS ALL!!! thank you for your time :):):)
