Gives it this time ... shows how stupid the referal rule is though.

Same amount of ball hitting leg stump as the one given not out earlier.

Pakis 45/2

Shafiq rolled his ankle but it's come up and said that akmal hit the 4 but he was at the strikers end turning for the second so unless you can now hit 4's from non strikers end I don't know how it works

Yeah I checked that it's just not making sense because he rolled his ankle turning for the second run and he was at the non strikers end, were I have read about the ball it says shafiq has injured himself turning for the second, and in the footage it shows him next to Brett lee and the umpire

This performance by Lee is excellent.

Reminds me of the SA v NSW domestic OD final a few years back where Tait was the only one who kept SA in it, but other bowlers just couldn't back him up...after not scoring anywhere near enough runs...

Heads must roll if we go out in quarters

We need to strengthen our batting. Seriously we're just carrying too many guys Ponting, White & Smith. Not a huge fan of the guy but bring D. Hussey back in and piss off Smith he's useless makes FA runs and hasn't taken a wicket all tournament and D. Hussey is probably a better bowler than him too.

Id keep smith and get rid of white.
We also have Paine, we could keep with him and he is a far better keeper than haddin. Haddin can play as batsman, he is doing a good job opening.
This has to be pontings last hurrah, needs to go at end of world cup.

fancy losing to that bunch of cheating ****, now having said that we wont progress any further than the next match and like the test side it is time for an overhaul, the captain should retire whilst he still has some credibility, hussey cant go on forever, the same for brett lee and haddin, white is on thin ice, we are just a shadow of what we used to be and have to accept we have to rebuild and suffer some pain for a bit, the future stars are there ready and waiting for a chance to be nurtured

I cant bat as good as Ricky Ponting in ODIs
I cant bowl as good as Brett Lee in ODIs
I cant field as good as Steve Smith in ODIs
But I could easlily outcaptain Ricky Ponting in ODIs

His execution of bowlers and the fields set in the last 15 overs was abyssMAL
