for those interested, a couple of useless points - North Adelaide are wearing their white 'alternate' jumper...

Jacob Surjan is playing in the Norwood reserves side, wearing number 17 and looking very much under done...

AND umpire Richard Williams is running around officiating this reserves game about to get under way shortly...

Where do you work ?

In South Australia ;)

It was a legitimate question .

Fair enough...

I'm an Account Manager for a Distribution company...

Being at the Clipsal all day and only checking emails now, means I had a bit to catch up on but all done now...

Back to the footy...

BP, what were your thoughts on the games of Nick Ramsey and Marlon Motlop in the magoo's?

CP, I thought Ramsey was pretty good early and sitting along side Robert and David Oatey and Robbie Neill, they were all commenting how well he played early. Spent a bit of time on the ball early, where he looked good, then rotated off the bench in the 2nd half where I didn't notice him as much.

Marlon Motlop didn't have the greatest of games, too many times, as he has in the past, was caught holding the ball trying to dodge, weave and take on blokes. Kicked a goal late in the game, but not that impressive overall was Marlon CP.

LEAGUE:

Quarter Time:

North - 4.4 = 28

Norwood - 3.0 = 18

Roosters lead by 10 points

Goal Kickers:

North - C.Alleway 2, G.Thring, M.Thring 1

Norwood - M.Davis, S.Rowe, J.Donohue 1

North Adelaide certainly the better side in that quarter, controlling the midfield early and looking dangerous up forward with Alleway dominating.

Norwood got their first goal at the 18 minute mark and then a couple of more quick ones got them back in it at the first change.

Jimmy Allan and Darren Pfieffer pretty good for their respective sides while Jericho looked good in attack for Norwood and Andrew McIntyre for North is having a run in attack.

Andy Lee is playing full back and didn't do much in that first term while Handby, from memory, only came on in the first few minutes of this 2nd term for the first time and hasn't done much, other than give away a silly free kick...

LIVE @ COOPERS STADIUM

LEAGUE:

Half Time:

Norwood - 9.3 = 57

North - 8.5 = 53

Norwood by 4 points

Goal Kickers:

Norwood - J.Donohue 3, L.Jericho 2, N.Eagleton, M.Davis, S.Rowe, P.Persinos 1

North - C.Alleway 4, J.Bennett, G.Thring, M.Thring, A.McIntyre 1

Norwood certainly looked the better side in that quarter with their small forwards, Josh Donohue and Peter Persinos looking very dangerous as crumbing forwards. Dean Terlich was winning a bit of the ball playing in the midfield while Luke Jericho was strong in attack.

Clint Alleway is the most dominant forward on the ground with 4 majors and was also involved in a bit of a scuffle with James Gallagher, who gave Clint a bit of a push and shove, resulting in a free kick and goal to Alleway.

Pretty good standard of footy early on, skils at times a little scrappy, but all in all, a pretty good standard. Looking forward to the second half.

I mentioned Jericho in the post above mate, doing alright, has kicked a couple of goals in the first half but he has been quiet so far in this 3rd term...

Eagleton was also good in the 2nd half but not as good as he was reportably a lot better last week. Had a couple of opportunities in front of goal and kicked a big one from outside 50. Also a little quiet so far in this 3rd term.

CP, further from your enquiry about Nick Ramsey, he is now playing in the 2nd half of the league game mate, must have impressed Bass in the ressies game.

For those interested, James Allan has taken no further part in the game after half time - doesn't look injured, just think it was pre-planned.

Also, Crows listed player Will Young hurt his wrist for Norwood just before half time and wont take any further part in the game.

Hi Pompy,

Despite being listed on the team sheet, Nick Gill has not taken the field tonight and I haven't even seen him at the ground, but that's not to say he isn't here...

Todd Miles has played the entire game so far in defence and has done a couple of good things but hasn't particularly stood out. He's been caught a couple of time holding the ball.
