Not a single vote? Should be second or third favourite IMO.

Is that on the back of their one win last year?

they have recruited heavily and with the inclusion of a few more from paralowie they will be right in the mix plus lets be brutally honest, div 7 this year is not the best and thats with no disrespect but their are only 1 or 2 standouts

His experience and leadership over the summer has been outstanding. He will be able to give some direction all over the ground as he is generally around where the ball is.

Good luck to him and a great choice by Geoff and the club

This Polkinghorne bloke seems to have been at a lot of clubs (Barossa, Gepps X, Kilburn, now Mawson Lakes) but I haven't heard a bad word about him. In fact the opposite, so it seems not a surprising choice at Mawson Lakes.

Heard they beat the Gepps Cross C grade by over 10 goals a few weeks ago. Not sure if this is true or not. If it is they should be competitive enough so long as they can keep in under the points.

Was talking about "a" and "b" grade, not having a dig at Polkinghome at all. I been told he is a natural leader but what if they only play one or two years.

C grade is coming along nicely, every training session we're seeing more & more new faces. I think we'll comfortably fill a side every week. We've been put in C6 which aint the easiest comp going around, some tough teams in there.

Just seems you have a crack at Division 7 without any substance when it appears on here that a lot of sides are going to be better than they were in 2010. It's easy to throw stones from the outside ;)

On a side note Dee Man, name names of these blokes from Paralowie you think are heading to North Pines? I've heard the same as Riddler quite a few neighbouring clubs have picked some up but not the Redbacks or Owls and they won't be either.

The Pines will get Jason Hiscock, Phil Furner and maybe Adam Watson from The Roo's I think.

Long time no speak sobcu, did you put a self imposed ban on yourself from safooty? :D

We're looking alright mate haven't lost anyone from last year and have been lucky enough to gain quite a few which has enabled us to put in a C grade for the first time this year. On paper we look stronger but if we are better remains to be seen, god knows I don't want another 8-0 start to amount to nothing! X(
