As a member of one of the asca clubs. (coro ramblers) I am interested to know what clubs are thinking of moving into the asca? weve already had cove come in who altho they had a decent start against the weaker sides in our comp. got found out massively by the stronger sides. Where was cove placed when they played in the sca?

If Noarlunga leave to join GSCA then there will be no point continuing a SCA seniors comp.
I think the juniors will keep going.

Port easy winners of A-Grade Grand Final. Shoes conceded with Port 2/146 in reply to their total of just 70.
Does anyone know how the C-Grade battle between Ahmadiyya and Flaggies went ?

Most satisfying result ever. Great to see a club who "thought" they were too good for our league fall in a pathetic heap and get rolled for 70. Once Noarlunga finish eating humble pie on sad Sunday I hope they start begging to stay in the SCA.

As i have played in southern & suburbon comps i dont think there is any diffrent in the comp playing level, but a massive diffrents in facilities. Cove had won the last 3 flags in sca before the move, this years team was missing 5 players from the previous years

Well done to Porties A and B grades on winning the flags with the A grade being the dominant side all year and deserved winners and the B grade pulling off a massive upset, but you know when your out in the field, the score is 6-120 odd and Ollie Rhodes strolls out trying to look like a batter with sweat bands and all that the game cannot be lost from there and it's time to party coz there can't be too much to come behind him!!!!

Cheers for the mention on the way I look while walking out to the crease HHH, work hard on that during the week might have to start working on the actual batting from now on though, especially now I have some credit for the great way I present myself strolling out there. But well done to Port Noarlunga in U15's B & A grade , great effort by the White Pointers and the best team's on the weekend won. Umpired the U15's and there are a couple of guns in both porties and Flaggies sides, bright futures ahead for both clubs if they can hold on to them.

ah fair enuf. from all reports all is not well at cove atm. their last game against wyc was a shambles. smashed for 400+ and then lost 20 wickets in a day on the best batting pitch in the comp. cost my team a home final.

No need for humble pie... We know everybody in the association was hoping Porties would beat us but good on them for being far the better A grade team all year...Seems like sour grapes for the rest of the comp because Noarlunga want to move on and finally the other clubs have to actually think about their future instead of sitting on their arses and doing f**k all the last 3 years watching the comp die.
