Doco's also that you recommend on the topic of war/NAZI Germany.

Some of the guys on here were talking previously (think it's on this thread, might have to dig a bit) about a movie from which the Hitler in the bunker sports spoofs were taken from, and all seemed pretty adamant that it was a masterpiece.

Oh .. When you find the name of the movie, can you let me know, cheers ;)

The Great Dictator (1940)
Casablanca (1941)
The Great Escape (1963)
A Bridge Too Far (1977)
Das Boot (1981)
Schindler's List (1993)
Life is Beautiful (1997)
The Counterfeiters (2007)
Valkyrie (2008)

Great little (fictionalised) comedy about young Hitler as a struggling artist that pretty much got snubbed everywhere...

Doco's also that you recommend on the topic of war/NAZI Germany.

Leni Reifentstahl's masterpieces...

Image

Errol Morris' fascinating character study of the completely-off-his-rocker Holocaust deniar Fred Leuchter Jnr...

Image

Aussie B-Grade director Phillippe Mora has been working on a Nazi documentary for years...

The Boy in Striped Pyjamas was a good holocaust movie. Very sad. On the flip side, Inglorious Basterds was a ripper.
Agree with Valkyrie, great movie but the ending always sucks when based on a true story.
