Certainly not the case Phantom. Sure, any team defending 200+ in a granny should go into the 2nd half of the match with confidence, but she ain't over 'til it's over. ;) Soooo cliched, I know, but it's true. Legends are also made in Grand Finals.. ;) No secret that Fitzies have some young talent in their batting line-up, as well as the 'old timers, BB, Loechel & auto, but experience in big matches is a huge advantage, and knowing how to win them even more valuable. 8)

They'll truly deserve the win if they chase down 208. Can't tell me there won't be a few nervous boys watching The Frictionator steam in from that same end again... :D

i cant see Fitzroy chasing down 200, especially considering the only two times they have passed 200 this season have been against NEK at their ground which is very batsman friendly..

Why do I need to be diplomatic? I've been involved with PV as a player & coach for 12 years, so why would I want anyone other than my own Club to win the flag?!? :? I always put my Assoc hat on for rep stuff, but when there's a Div 1 premiership at stake, all bets are off. ;) Surely we don't yet live in a society of blokes where I need to sugarcoat my allegiances? :? :-*

Giggsy would be spewin' if there was bloodshed and he wasn't involved... ;)

Sledging in the lower grades is very rarely witty and usually poor quality. Most of the lower grade sledging I see is generally over-the-top, personal, or a combination of both. I guess if blokes down there are struggling to hold a bat, they'll struggle with the concept of sledging and the fine art that it is.. ;)

Dont think he did start it phantom, from what ive been told and ive checked and double checked (as the great journalist i am) from different people and spectators at the game. The big story tho is he's been offered a career in the media with his own show, "When Sledges Go Wrong"
