The fact that it must be "National change lanes without looking day" and everyone on the road this morning seemed to know about it except for me!

Nah mate, South Rd.

Thankfully it would be out of my way to take the expressway and enjoy the Keep Right Unless Overtaking rules (despite signs saying the opposite).

Have been with them for years, but ever since they got taken over by Medibank Private the competitiveness of their rates has diminished.

Speaking of the Expressway, I don't use it much and was nearly caught out by the boom gates where the Expressway meets South Rd down the bottom end. I think they're a bit dangerous that they stick out the way they do. I can't believe nobody's cleaned them up before?

They have - seen it happen 2 x with my own eyes so I'm guessing there's been many more.
If you're not familiar with that section - very easy to run straight into them.

here here, i never get nervous but the tummy is going.

i always think back to the 9/11 doco and quote from the new york mayor Gullianni sp?

paraphrasing he said, the first thing his dad taught him about being a leader/captain/figure head was that whenever there was a crisis no matter how big, sad, trumatic, exciting the situation he had to be the most calmest person in the room otherwise his decision making would be clouded and misjudged.

As a cricket captain i take this bit of advice into every game/situation i play.

Great advice! I try to remain calm where i can lol but i've got to say, im struggling at the moment haha!! Hardly slept last night, spewing this morning, guts is doing sommersaults. Half blame myself though, i think i've put too much pressure on myself for this game and this is undoubtedly the biggest game i want to win sooo bad just because of who the opposition it haha!!

absolute exactly the same,

the calmness i try and portay on the field and before play is just a persona inside my gut is twisting and turning but i cant let my young side know im a nervous wreck otherwise it will carry on to them and their performance

thats why a few blokes in the side probably think im crazy, im always muttering or think in my head 'be the calmest bloke in the room'
