This will cost the Bulls I reckon as the Vics have better depth at the moment.

And fair enough to be unhappy too. Surely Watson and Johnson could do with a bowl.

what a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!

i think JIMMY has every reason to be upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hope that QLD win to shove it up BUCHANAN

buchanan obviously wants to win the world cup given its his last chance of a cup after losing the hadlee-chappell in a whitewash.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Absolute farce
To deprive some younger players like JOHNSON the opportunity
to play in a final and gain experience would be the way to go.

We can still talk about it mal. We just won't have a current success or failure to back up our arguments.

Well John B just ensured we'll lose the World Cup now.

Leaving Shane Watson out of the final means he'll be fit for the Windies.

I can't understand resting a batsman at all, so Hodge should play. As for Johnson and Watson, they've suffered late this season because of a lack of cricket, so why are they being rested? I would think all 3 players would benefit from the hit out more than anything else.

I get the feeling that cricket aus didn't do the Vics any favours yesterday. Jimmy Maher is one of the most experienced in the business and when he decides not to get out you've got on hell of a battle on your hands. I've never seen Maher more determinned than he was yesterday and you could tell early that he was going to get a ton just to shove it up Buchannan's ar5e and the poor Vics had to cop it. It was a well controlled innings and the Vics did well to get him out before he really got going at the end because he could have ended up with 150.

Makes you wonder why the guy is not in the West Indies......
