It's good to see Carey showing his love for the club in volunteering to do 100 of them himself.

You might save the club this time but the reality is, is it a long term proposition. With stronger clubs in the area are you only buying time until the Grim Reaper arrives to put the final nail in the coffin. Or is it better to consider the alternative and merge now before you have no choice.

given that they nominated for c1 i'd expect them to go into that grade especially as it will have the added bonus of minimal travel for them with smithfield, salisbury north, eastern park et al being resident there (provided of course paralowie get readmitted and here's hoping they're able to continue).

Didn't Ovingham originally nominate for C4? If they want it, put them back into C4 and Paralowie could jump into C2.

As of today the Paralowie FC is no longer affliated with the SAAFL all player transfers will incur a $50 fee payable to the SAAFL to recover costs from the Paralowie FC

So if a bloke is fully financial at Paralowie and now wants to keep playing at another club he can't go until he pays $50 to the league for something which had nothing to do with him or control over?

You got it in one Bruno!!!

The club owes quite an amount of money to the league.

The league did the same thing with Wingfield Royals players about 10 years ago

Paralowie posters tell us what is going on!!!!

I'm not quite sure what you mean but I gather you think it's wrong, so do I. This mis-management of funds was not the players fault. So sad to see a club that was on the way up have to deal with this.

Would not be a good situation whereby a player cannot have a kick on a Saturday because of a club he happened to be affiliated with went under.

Poor form SAAFL.

Yeah nothing like turning more blokes away from the game. Some guys find it hard enough to pay Fees alone yet to have another $50 thrown on there head because of a clubs mismanagement sucks. As far as i was aware, as long as the player was financial a clearance couldn't be refused. Nothing like making it up as you go
