So, Port Adelaide (and their supporters) have already taken the March premiers mantle! Normally my great mate Bunton and I take great pleasure in giving it to the Eagles and their supporters but I couldn't let this opportunity pass to take on the might of One Port Adelaide............ You blokes are kidding yourselves.

Things have been tough for Port in the last few years yes but the premiership mantle in march is something we'de let you ( your supporters ) & your players at South get a grip of, you've probably got a good grip of something else now that you beat a very undermanned West team under lights. Things won't change for you klaan, i have no doubt we'll finish above you pretenders.
If anyones kidding themselves its you, i'll engrave your wooden spoon for you!!

Port Magpies looked & played like a different team against the Eagles yesterday compared to last weeks trial against Sturt.
From the outset they looked more committed & desperate, the only thing that let them down was their goalkicking.
Ports attack on the ball & body was outstanding for only their second trial, they worked & supported each other in numbers all day with quick release handball, hitting targets with both hand & foot far better than last week, i was also impressed with their tackling also.
That brand of footy would no doubt see them win more matches this year, i'd expect them to win more of the closer games this year.
The Eagles were terrible, they'd want to have alot of good players to come back into that side ', i thought they should of lost by 16-18 goals.
Godden was only talking premierships last week, maybe they've got a little ahead of themselves!
I know its only a trial but i expected a better game than that or should i say better opposition!
