really keen on the 12 second draw in this - $34 in some early markets - great ew bet in this. others that will be in it are 2,3,4,6,7,12

race 7

another open race, the good value i believe is in the 10 blue maggich and then to a lesser extent 9 public holiday. Other chances are 2,3,4,6

King Diamond is the horse to beat but is under the odds, so ill be leaving it out

I cant go past GUYNO and probably am talking through my pocket as he was very good in the Mornington Cup plus I really rate Fish as a good jock. He is my main bet for the race and this isnt overly tough and is very well weighted

5 macedonian is going to have no trouble getting the trip and is the main danger to GUYNO I believe

9 Big Ted - $61 - is at the odds he deserves to be but is one horse who i think at odds is a chance of causing the boilover - he is the best of the roughies. He wont be leading today, get a very soft run on the fence - Gatt gets kicked off and Yuill jumps back on, will be ridden for luck.

19 kincaple - most of us saw this win quite convincingly last wednesday at sandown. this will be 3 runs in under 2 weeks but thats no real concern with stayers

race 9

even race, cant find a lot of value

will be boxing up 1,2,4,10
plus anchoring 1,10

race 5 - no good, never a winning hope but made ok ground, will win a race when it drops in grade

race 7 - got wiped out with the 100/1 shot

CUP - never ever looked like collecting, apart from risking the fav my other chances never ran into it, well macedonian ran 3rd but was never going to win

i got my missus to pick a horse in teh cup andf id chuck a 5 on it for her.. she had saddlers story coz she liked its colour.

so bloody close.

Muir wasnt overly hard to get if you liked the fav and i didnt like the fav so admittedly i didnt like anything that finished behind it

wanted to risk the 3 as i think its a tad short but was scratched from flemington on saturday for this
