Not having reviewed the thread, I'm assuming you're talking Hot Schnitzel? I was on Uate, and called it over the line. However upon review and the footage on Sky, I threw my Best Bets book into the floor. I'd been nutted thrice before and wasn't happy. But then after they showed the photo, I squinted, I walked toward the TV and still couldn't believe they'd called mine home. Besides OfcourseIcan and Black Caviar, it was the only winners I had for the day.

Thanks Mr Willy.....

I must admit, I should've known but had no idea.....der.

How was Black Caviar's performance. Realistically we have nothing to beat it here in Australia. I hope it doesn't get handicapped out of races from here in, because it deserves to be unbeaten. On the flipside, it'd be nice to see it actually have to compete against something! There isn't anything in Australia that could compete with it, unless you put Hay List in a race with 50kgs and BC with 65.......even then I know who I'd back.

Moody has said this will be its only handicap run - i think they got a bonus for winning today

plus a punter won $300,000 - on a horse that won the blue diamond prelude into BC today - invested $54000 from memory

if it was to race against the field it did today again

what weight would BC get?

carried 58kg, today, won by 3 lengths un-touched

crystal lilly ran the race of her life and was 8kg lighter

and who knows what weight she could carry?

who knows what she has in her motor, that has never been taken out of 2nd gear - especially the last 2 wins

ive never seen anything like it, absolutely brilliant

the AFL comparison would be like watching the cats play in full flight ;)

I know it's unheard of, but then this is an unheard of horse. It'd have to carry 70kgs to be struggling against some of these horses. And lets face it, Crystal Lily, Beaded, Response, Star Witness etc are the best 1200m horses going around at the moment and it really caned them.

It'll never happen because they wont let a horse run with that weight on it's back though.

WFA races........look out!

morphettville

race 5

really keen on the 12 second draw in this - $34 in some early markets - great ew bet in this. others that will be in it are 2,3,4,6,7,12

race 7

another open race, the good value i believe is in the 10 blue maggich and then to a lesser extent 9 public holiday. Other chances are 2,3,4,6

CUP

King Diamond is the horse to beat but is under the odds, so ill be leaving it out

I cant go past GUYNO and probably am talking through my pocket as he was very good in the Mornington Cup plus I really rate Fish as a good jock. He is my main bet for the race and this isnt overly tough and is very well weighted

5 macedonian is going to have no trouble getting the trip and is the main danger to GUYNO I believe

9 Big Ted - $61 - is at the odds he deserves to be but is one horse who i think at odds is a chance of causing the boilover - he is the best of the roughies. He wont be leading today, get a very soft run on the fence - Gatt gets kicked off and Yuill jumps back on, will be ridden for luck.

19 kincaple - most of us saw this win quite convincingly last wednesday at sandown. this will be 3 runs in under 2 weeks but thats no real concern with stayers

race 9

even race, cant find a lot of value

will be boxing up 1,2,4,10
plus anchoring 1,10

BUGGER, just walked in and heard Roccin Jo get over the line again. Dammit.

Also I'm a big Just Sybil fan so I'm very disappointed I didn't get on that as well.

Here's hoping for some decent collects from here in.

I'm going the 2 in Adelaide race 3.

Race 5 7 Absolutely
Race 6 6 Avenue (but it's too short to back)
Race 7 7 Belgietto
Race 8 5 Macedonian with a couple of bucks each way on Kincaple
Race 9 10 Obsequious
Race 10 5 Andronica

Second Draw - ran midfield, ran past a few in the straight, was never a winning hope but I think i saw enough to blackbook this and wait for it to drop in grade
