looking forward to a friday night game aswell felch :)

When is that game ? If it isnt round 1, i cant see myself getting up for it...im intending to be primed for round 1, then i expect to be out for 12-18 weeks with general soreness... ;)

Im still sore from training last Weds night !!!

Round 4 Portland V Rosewater Friday 29th April.

I have no hope of playing that game...unless i pull a hammy now, then that should fit in nicely as my first game back !

Felch, it's seven weeks away, you have enough time to do it twice and still make the game!

I am coaching Easts this season. We have had about 30 on the track for the last 3 weeks. Gunna be a nightmare to pick a team and give everyone a run until the cold and injuries kick in. We have got Phantoms at Thier ground this week and then the one i'm looking forward to, Hills at home, second round. Should be at full strength and at home, best chance we'll get to knock them off. :ympray:

30  Portland have that problem where a lot of their players only get a half.

I reckon the best chance to beat the hills is late in the season when some of their blokes will have finals, injuries, cold weather and nagging wives to contend with. We managed to knock em off late last year.

Looking forward to playing Portland too, this is my third season and we haven't come up against you guys in that time.

SHOC didnt show up today for our game at Kersbrook...well, 3 of them showed up. We had 26 guys make the trip, so we had a scratch match, 14-a-side instead.

It was good to have a run, but very, very poor form by SHOCs - not only letting us down, but 3 of their own guys.

Gawler and Hills played before us, both had a good turnout.

Easts beat Phantoms yesterday and the late game was West V River Murray, not sure who won. 2 good games of footy played, feeling pretty sore today and only got a week to get over it........

We played Pooraka last night, at Pooraka. It was suppose to be a night game but a power failure (not the one at AAMI Stadium ;) ) meant that bad light stopped play after 3 quarters.

It was my first proper hit out in Over 35s and had an absolute blast. Pooraka were all great blokes, and even though we gave them a bit of a touch up on the scoreboard, the game was played in fantastic spirits all night. Both sides had excellent numbers too - we had 22, and Pooraka had at least 24 players.

Now have a 2 week break to sort out the sore spots, which i definately need !

Great day at Torrens Valley reserve yesterday. Had a great hitout against the Hills boys. Easts won by a bit ( about 70 points) and in the second game fitzroy probably got up over Mid North by about the same. Well done to our 3 guys who helped Hills fill a side and the same to the half dozen Fitzroy boys who did the same. Great day of footy in great weather, cheers to everyone who hung around for a beer, we will repay the favour at your grounds throughout the year. Love masters footy......GO EASTS!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I'm thinking about playing in the over 35's league as I don't reckon I could have got through another preseason for the club I previously played for. Too hard keeping up with all the 18 year olds.

Does anyone have a contact for Souths and does anyone know if they train and when ?
