If its so obvious, why do you have a question mark. I first thought of Mt Barker and the problems that it tends to have with a "sewagey smell" on really wet days.

agree. my first thought was mt barker (bacteria) or ironbank (sandy, rocky surface).

i've been driving past bridgewater oval almost daily for the past 10 years and it's in better shape than it's ever been. still small but.....

Fair point with the Mt Barker thought, forgot how much of a sesspool that can turn into. If it's condemned will we see games at the College up there?

Unsure, I thought there may have been something about not being able to serve alcohol there? Anyone been to a trial there? Were there beers?

Not sure how you go about obtaining a liquor license on school grounds? Further more would the school allow it?

Yep, Steve Wallace. It got some coverage a few pages back. Went for the Happy Valley job but got pipped by Dent. According to some Happy Valley faithful they're glad to see him move to Onkas.

Not all valley supporters were happy to see Wallace go but he is a hard man and maybe this is what Onkas need - sure is what valleys need this year so hope Dent is a tough nut too

Is this a ploy by the Local Government to get the new oval up and running at Mount barker?

Have any clubs had any trial games as of yet (besides the 20/20 thing)?

If not when are they scheduled for? I know Blackwood has one scheduled for Friday night…

Did you see this or word of mouth? Are TV's expectations high for this year?

From a player. I don't think their expectations are as high as they were beginning of pre season.
