What have I done now?

I think it was Francis Awaratife or however you spell his last name, who made the point about how players can hear the whistle for the full 90 minutes then all of a sudden they claim they can't hear it when they are about to get booked.

I just don't think the ref took into account the time between blowing the whistle and RVP kicking the ball. 1 second is a very short time in terms of reaction.

Still I guess we will have to agree to disagree mate :D

Yes there wasn't a lot of time I agree, he did blast his shot away though... if he didn't hear a whistle surely he would have taken more time? It was a rare attacking opportunity for them.

Anyway I actually wanted Arsenal to win, helps United because it means at least two more games for them plus I really hate Barca. They play great football but they are arrogant tossers.

Im not really that disappiotned about Arsenal exiting. I'd prefer them to win the EPL, too many matches would of killed them now they can have at least 1 weeks breaks in between matches, now just need Man UTD to win

Can't see anyone else beating Barca except Spurs ;)

JTC, what are you taking, in my wildest dreams I could not see Spurs beating Barca, who in my humble opinion play the beautiful game as well as, if not better than anyone in the history of the game. Didn't see the game last night, but to dominate possession that much against probably one of the best 4 teams in Europe is incredible.

Good result for Spurs but how bad are AC Milan? The Serie A must be terrible these days because they are going to win that comfortably I reckon and they couldn't even score in 180 minutes vs Tottenham - a team not known for their defensive qualities.

Sucked in to Milan. They get what they deserved for acting like spoilt kids in the first leg. Despicable tactics, good riddance

Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, just hope we don't draw another English team. Never in my wildest dreams did I consider a quarter final spot, beating one of the big clubs of European Soccer, irrespective of what Jimbo thinks.

Yep could see it a mile away

Have to agree, red very soft, but the players just don't adapt to the different style of refereeing, they continue to carry on like prima donnas, when blind freddy could see that the ref was not putting up with any s..t at all. Personally I think watching the Rugby Union, the gentlemans game, the refs have go it right, you argue, you get penalised, what do these highly paid players in soccer think will happen when they argue, the ref will change his mind, DUHhhhhhh, I say stamp all that crap out at the top level and you won't get the issues that continually occur in minor and junior games.

Congrats to Spurs by the way. Only saw bits of the game and they defended pretty well

Noticed Milan's shirt sponsors were Emirates same as Arsenal. Are Emirates Milan's full time sponsor or was it just for the CL

Either way, not a good week for them
