I thought Mitcham, Smosh, Flinders Park and Golden Grove were in C2 to match up with C6. Have back off from their plans of doing this.

I don't believe we got a choice in being pushed back to C3...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

sounds like many clubs didn't with us being given no choice from initial darft program of c2, c4 and c6 ending up in c1, c2 and c4.

So do Uni only have seven sides this year finn?

I think we had the choice in going back to C4, rather than C2.

Yep, last year we only had seven too as the roseworthy side dropped out when courses were changed to the Waite Institute in town.

Sounds similar to what happened to us a few years back. Hot wiring cars was cancelled due to low numbers. Far too many graduated early like child prodigies, but no one wanted to take up pottery. Just kidding. Its hard to gather how a club can manage such high numbers of players. I guess you guys have been doign it for a long time now. Commitee's and sub commitee's i guess? Logistically is it hard to get payments from players for their subs in an orderley fasion? Just curious. I dont suggest your players cant afford to pay their fees but with so many students do you guys offer reduced subs to compensate?

What are the thoughts of having the league organise the triple headers? Has it made it easier or another call too many? We have had expressions from 5 clubs but only one copnfirmed (atl east this is what ive been told by the club). I would like more tahn the 4 or 5 that have flagged their interest. I do like the idea of playing the c grade after the A grade in a twilight. Anyone else looked at that?

Mithcham vs Flinders Park Have been highly rated. although the hawks were god last year
Golden Grove vs Para Hills Sorry to GG guys dont know anything about ya. Know Para Hills should take the chocolate's
Portland vs Smosh We are a far greater side than last year. Proof will only be a win. Round 1 very hard will be a great game and my first as a coach so im confident but also nervous
Pooraka vs Seaton Havent seen Pooraka for a while now so i think Seaton should take it.
Pembroke vs CBC CBC C grade not much chop. We were 1 each last year and one was due to our undiscipline. That wont be the case this year

Good Luck to all for the start of what should be a great season. Its the look of whats to come for the league in this division.

i'd expect flinders park to win this division with most of their c2 premiership winning side returning and some heavy recruiting pushing other players down from above.
but shoulda and what happens can be vastly different.

This will be a big test for our C grade this year. Having been the side to beat over the last 3 years things have changed a bit, a few older players pulling back and playing D grade and a few guys moving on from the B grade has seen the C grade look its weakest I have seen for a while. Not the worst side just one of the weaker sides. That is with the exception of Choccies and his cameo role in the pivot this week! 8)

Will be a massive test for our C-Grade, as Tex said earlier not a strong team, but some of the coaching staff worked out that there is still 15-20 players to return to team across all the grades so it might not look very weak come round 2-3.

From what I saw of Para Hills (was playing for GG) they had older guys that could play football but couldnt run, and younger guys that couldnt play football but could run and no one really in between. Our team did really well considering it was a "new team" and i guess the start of a new C-Grade era. Might have to find a new Full Forward though, B.Goreing kicking 12 would be hard to not see him in the Bs next week.
