Haven't been out for a while mate, dabbing a fortnight ago was about my last trip. Good night out and a few fish around too which was nice.

Anyone get out on the weekend just gone at all?? I headed out locally Sunday arvo and fished into the evening with a mate looking to get into a few red boys, but managed to find a good patch of healthy-sized KG's and a smattering of squid. Ended up with 15 KG's, a dozen squid and 1 monster cuttly. Reds were a no-show. :(

Best part was the glassy conditions, with it starting to flatten right out from 4pm onwards and resulting in conditions like this..... 8)

Just got back from there. Locks has salmon. If you like tommies as big as stubbies then go off the jetty, make it 10pm onwards with gents. Caught 72 with the boy. Take the road to salmon point and check out the white spots b4 you get to the top on your left, they are holding kgs. Spent the day there for 16 fish. Dont forget the esky. Elliston is not always windy as stated, when it is there is always some where to fish with protection. Gods country.

Was it def a snapper that busted you off? A few kingies and the odd bronzy or dusky have been landed in recent weeks.
