Nup, Woodroffe's anything is the best ever made.

Cold Big Sars on a summers day while playing in my Great Aunts backyard at Brompton, picking grapes off the vine and apricots off the tree while running around...good memories. Good memories indeed.

Sadly her house, when she passed away, was eaten up by the Clipsal juggernaut.

Browsing through my local Cheap As Chips the other day, found a 12 pack of Wizz Fizz. Childhood memories couldn't pass that one up :) (naturally, as soon as I opened it, a big cloud went all over me, so I resembled a snowman).
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Going to the service station and receiving service. Also, having the petrol options of Standard and Super. None of this 91, 94 garbage....

Used to go to the one on The Parade religiously, until that f***ing cinema complex opened ...

No night on the piss was complete without a 3am floater.

can you get a floater anywhere these days

we used to go out of our way, then pay the taxi driver to wait for us, then pile back in the taxi to go home. He must've thought about the old Kven Blardy Wilson line about 'room for a case of beer and pizza' and think we were gonna upend ourselves in the cab. Truth be known, I never spewed after a floater. They obviously settled the stomach down niiiiicely!

Not from a pie cart ... and if it's not from a pie cart it's not a real floater. [-X

Absolutely Boons.
definitely the best EVER lemonade.

Ck mentioned wizz fizz.....which brings me to sherbies......loved them as a kid....for some reason they taste different to how I remember them, as well as coke out of the bottle, but I think that's more to do with additives etc.

The Colonels fried Chicken,,,,,then kentucky Fried Chicken, now the cholesterol friendly restaurant KFC.

Hungry Jacks serving Whalers,,,, then the Rainbow Warrior friendly burger called OCean Catch.

Just out of interest, someone mentioned getting 20 cents for a glass litre bottle from the deli.
What would that be worth in todays mone if we could still do it ?

Does that mean the one that was shown in Billy Connolly's World Tour Of Australia has gone???

I'd been hoping to try one of your famous Aussie pies....minus the pea soup :ymsick: ...and even though they probably wouldn't be as good as the ones from the 1950's that my father still raves about.

A warning with the frog cakes. I find them to be rather sickly sweet; so I can never seem to eat a whole one.
