hi mate.no ,we havent picked any one up yet
a few of the northern clus picked up the better credintialed players and i believe the rest are waiting to see what happens with their clubs now trying to form c grade teams
we have about 27 that have come out and trained and registered but like all c grade teams wont know what we have till a week before the first game
but saying that have a great core of about 14 that dont miss many sessions and with a few extras should be a chance to meet my three goals i put in place with the club for this season
hope all is well down with your boys mate

They'll be competitive because they've recruited well, but there are teams in the Div that already have that quality plus some. Glenunga finished fifth last year in Div 7 and the assertion that they'll be a grand finalist because they've added four or five A-Graders to that team very much underestimates the quality of the other teams that played finals in Div 6 last year.

You never know Q, BOS jumped twice and really only added a couple to the squad when we won 2007 flag!

I would put that down to you being in Div 7 with a Div 5/6 quality side.

the three goals are as follows mate

1) for the club to finish in the black..after the club being ripped off in the past by the scum of the earth we are coming from along way back but we are already in front of our targets but still alot of work to do

2) to field a competive full team every week..no 14 or 15 players but a full list.if people want this club to survive they can not just hope it is going to happen they have to put in.no good coming in when its all over and saying we could have helped with mates and whatever,BE THEIR FROM DAY ONE

3) no more 30 goal losses..i dont care at this stage where we end up but we will not be disgraced and we will not have the respect of this great club torn up by huge losses.am instilling into the guys that its not the win or loss that counts but the fight we put up at every single contest from the flip of the coin to the very last kick

i know these are not the highest criteria to other clubs but to this club they are important
we need to stand up for ourselves and be counted on to represent this jumper with pride, respect, honesty, humulity and when needed anger
we will be no ones whipping boys and thats the bottom line!!!!
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one

I'm not questioning your integrity or playing list but I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard to rack up 30+ goals on Cane Reserve.
Good Luck with your endeavours, I think the main focus would be finishing off the season as a group and making a slight profit.
I'm sure we will all be monitoring your progress, I applaud your courage in taking on such a big job, with blokes like nuggety around I'm sure you have a good nucleus.

Kenilworth.................................$3.50
Blackfriars OS............................$4.00
Trinity OS..................................$6.00
Colonel Light Gardens............. ...$7.00
Houghton Districts.....................$10.00
Glenunga..................................$11.00
Central United...........................$15.00
Henley......................................$20.00
Adelaide University....................$25.00
Ingle Farm................................$35.00

looks fair Q..ingle farm might be a bit short though

think the best odds for the year are glenunga at $11.i would have a $50 on that

Will be interesting to see how the Rams fair against Two Wells on the weekend with all their new recruits on show.

TW and Glenunga play next w/e. TW will be without a recongised ruckman aswell. Would be a benefictial hit out for the Rams compared to their original opponent
