Managed to get 2nd in the work footy tips, so used the cash to go and pick up a copy in my lunch break. Looks like an all nighter tonight.

Just praying my system is up to it (computer is getting on a bit!). Should be okay. :ympray:

First Civ where you can only have one "unit" per square (or whatever shape it is now!)
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Yep, should change the dynamic of the game quite a bit. The whole 'city state' thing sounds quite interesting as well, looking forward to seeing what that's all about. :D

DOOM has always been the best game for me, all the oldies with the plasma gun and rocket launchers.

Best character was the cacodemons...the big red head that could fly

Red Dead Redemption is up there for mine, it's simply an outstanding game. It's open world is huge and the scale of it is amazing. It's a game that's hard to put down, you can play for hours and hours and not get sick of it as there's always something to do, someone to see and somewhere to go.

Very good game. I'd like to see Rockstar continue that open world format in other varieties like medieval times, the future, even a Civilization style game where you start as cavemen and build your own civilisation.
Just a few thoughts...

My 8 year old brother has all of the new ones on DS, but none compare to the ones on Gameboy and Gameboy Colour.

Downloaded the Gameboy Colour emulator and the Pokemon roms to my laptop! Great fun!

And last night i taught my little brother a few things that will help him to become the Pokemon Master!!!

Same here, lots of favourites through time. But my favourite game I can whip out when I'm bored is the Donkey Kong series on SNES. Wish they made more on the SNES. Atm 2K11 is taking the reins.
