Centenary Show

12:55am Bloody good show tonight. Not too much talking on the mic but enough to let everyone know what it was all about. Wayne Jackson was excellent and the general mix of guests was good to be part of.

Geoff Heard and Glenda should be congratulated for putting on a very good show that nearly didn't happen.

when was it agreed by clubs that the money that was paid last year ($500) for the 100 year dinner to be held this year was to be put to last nights function instead. as i understand it the 8 tickets allocated to the club were in lieu of the payment made last year.

as i am no longer on our clubs committee i'm not up to speed with all the detail but at the last delegates meeting i went to last year (in august i think) the treasurer said the refund would go to clubs by 31 october.

Great night last night from memory - kudos to Geoff Heard for the idea.

Even managed to snag myself a framed 1948 Invincibles team photo ;)
