Going to see the Scardies, saw them a few years back and whilst I had heard many of the skits before they are still very funny.
Have seen Hannah Gadsby on Adam Hills' new show and wondered if her show might be worth a look, she seems quite amusing.

Saw Greg Fleet at the casino a couple of years ago when he was getting "back on the rails", he seemed like he had gone straight back off the rails after about 5 minutes (after he had finished 3rd pint) wasnt funny at all.
Trust the process.

Lucky enough to get into the preview show of Gluttony at Fringe Wednesday night- Dead Cat Bounce- absolutely brilliant. Hilarious and a must-see.
Gravity Boots- blew me away- but WTF cannot find any info on them where they are appearing or what is going on. Anyone know how I can catch the full show?
Couple of pretty disappointing shows there as well, but overall looks like being another top event.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

Saw the best of the Ed show last night at the gov. Had it's moments. MC'd be Steve Grant (probably the funniest out of the 3) with John Robbins & Gordon Southern doing a 20-30 minute stint each. but worth a look.

I went to see "Cantina" tonight at the Spiegeltent. It was a good laugh and very entertaining - a mix of contortionists and daring feats with some great music and a bit of dancing thrown in. It was a sellout and all went home happy.

Gravity Boots on Saturday, February 26, March 5 and 12 · 4:30pm - 5:30pm
at the Carry on Theatre, Gluttony, corner of East terrace and Grenfell -booked too late to be in the official program of this year's Adelaide Fringe. these guys have been booked for Edinburgh Comedy Festival 2012-

Their first review following the Gluttony Showcase read-
"A couple of characters (who I think were called Gravity Boots) then performed a surreal piece of theatre, each posing as a building: a neighbouring library and internet cafe. I’m buggered if I can find out who they were, or what show they are associated with, because their dry humour and quirky presentation definitely warranted another look. "
Caution! You are now entering the no-spin zone...

Gravity Boots is the brainchild of former Crystal Brook lad (and Australian representative show jumping rider I think?) James Lloyd-Smith. He was educated at StMarks in Pirie so students of that era would know him. Its correct that they have been booked for Edinburgh 2012. Their material is highly imaginative and original.
People who bought this book also bought a stool and some rope. Unknown literary critic

So I ended up letting the missus choos and we went to Who's Line is it Anyway.

It was pretty good and has the original cast members from the British version (before Drew Carey "Americanised" it)

We went to the Garden after and saw a big shipping container with a girl standing out the front yelling

We paid our $6 for the 9 minute show called Track.

It was one of the weirdest things I have ever seen.

A Dutch bloke walks around in the container making a movie with multiple handicams about a train with the 10 or so people inside as the stars i.e. I was watching the screen (a single bed sheet hanging on one wall) and saw an ankle, weird I thought only to look down and see a camera at my ankle

Very, very strange but it has to be seen to be believed!!

Going to see her this Saturday night. Very, very funny in standup, one of the best female comedians of this year's line up. If you liked that you saw on the Adam Hills show, you will really like a full show.

The only downside is the show is in one of the worst Fringe venues of all, the Rhino Room. Cramped, very poor disabled access and the bar area is tiny.

I'd never been to the Rhino Room before last week, but I really like the intimacy of the place. I can see your point about the disabled access, definitely issues there, but the fact the gigs were so small meant the bar area didn't need to be huge. Myself and the missus were there 20 minutes prior and managed to get two drinks each before the show with no problems at all.

I went to the Late Show at the Gov on Friday night. 3 stand up comedy acts.

Have been to the show the last 3 or 4 years (they always have different acts every year), this one probably wasn't up to the standard of previous years unfortunately.

haha! Brett from Semaphore!

We were to the right of you in the 2nd row of 4 seats..

I wish they'd done more of their old stuff but still a great show.

CK and I got interviewed after the show!

When they sang I've been everywhere, and asked for places to go, I was the one that yelled out "South East Asia"

Also just got home from Scaredies, great show but think those of us who went tonight might have lucked in for a couple of extra songs as they didnt have Kitty Flannagan following them tonight.

Have been a big fan of theirs for years and was happy to get the chance to see them live one last time, for anyone else who was thinking about going if you havent already got tickets I'd suggest steering clear of the dress circle seats, was a bit difficult to see (and im not short), people behind us had little kids who wouldnt have seen a thing if they werent sitting on the chair with the seat upright instead of flat.

Was great to see John and Rusty outside the door at the end for photos and autographs etc. They made some good coin on CD sales so guess they would be quite happy to sign them!

Saw you near the door ME just after we got there, was gonna come over and say hi and when i looked again you had gone.
Trust the process.
