This was one of CA's big points in regards to bringing the Ashes forward in order to set up 4 high quality summers in a row to boost the tv rights deal, its set up for Australia to host India, South Africa, England and the world cup all in the space of 4 summers.

Perhaps the tour will be shortened to 3 test matches in November and December with and ODI series prior to the 1st test, allowing South Africa to then play a home test match on Boxing day.

I'd say its a given that Sydney will get a T20 match, couldn't see Adelaide getting another international T20 after having one in 2010/11.

My guess is the Zimbabwe tour will be on the template of the Bangladesh top end tour of 2003, so 2 tests, 3 ODI's and perhaps 1 T20, keep in mind Zimbabwe are expected to resume test status in May 2011, so I dare say that will be the format of the game they are after in the short term.

Ok, will change that now from Adelaide to Sydney. I was trying to get the traditional fixture balance right with who hosts to try and get close to what to expect.

Now, for the Zimbabwe tour then:

18th-20th June Tour match vs NT @ Darwin (this wouldn't be a 1st class match I think)
22nd June Tour match vs ACA @ Darwin
24th-28th June 1st Test vs Aus @ Darwin
1st-5th July 2nd Test vs Aus @ Cairns
8th July 20/20 vs Aus @ Cairns
10th July 1st ODI @ Cairns
13th July 2nd ODI @ Cairns
16th July 3rd ODI @ Darwin

Basically the same as the last time these teams were here four years ago, except New Zealand will be playing the Tests and not Sri Lanka.

Gives you the question though - when will Sri Lanka and Bangladesh be playing Test matches in Australia next?

I think We owe the Bangers a home series first. They agreed to reschedule the last tour due to the IPL clash.

We played them there after they came here - in 2003 we played them in Darwin and Cairns; then it was 2006 when Dizzy scored 201* in Fatullah.

Australia will tour Bangladesh for the first time since 2006 in April 2011, straight after the on-going World Cup, for a three-match bilateral one-day series. They are scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on April 4, just two days after the World Cup final, and will play ODIs on April 9, April 11 and April 13, all at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.

In accordance with the ICC Future Tours Programme, Test playing nations must tour each other at least once every six years, and Australia have toured Bangladesh just once since they attained Test status. That tour was in April 2006 and Australia won both Tests and all three one-dayers. The FTP had Australia scheduled to play two Tests this time around as well, but the Bangladesh Cricket Board have announced Australia will leave immediately after the three ODIs

New Zealand have, in consultation with the Bangladesh Cricket Board, postponed their two-Test tour of Bangladesh scheduled for May-June this year to 2012, citing extremely hot and humid weather.

Youre kidding, these were reschulded from 2010 and now after a year you work out it will be hot and youre not keen on it

Zimbabwe Cricket have confirmed that Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand will be touring the country in the course of a busy schedule in 2011 that includes both one-day internationals and Test matches, as well as a triangular series including South Africa and an Australian A side.
Zimbabwe's home season begins with Bangladesh's visit between July 1 and July 22. The two teams have been regular opponents in recent years, having played 18 ODIs against each other since January 2009, with Bangladesh winning 13 of those games. Zimbabwe will play a one-off Test match and four ODIs against them before Australia A arrive for a one-day tri-series also involving Zimbabwe and South Africa, and two four-day matches against the host.
