Not having a go at them personally coz dont know either of them or the contributions they make but its prob strategic skills and the motivation/ability to see them thru that is needed.

The comp wont last five years let alone ten where does the answer lie i have no idea .To see the youth avaliable in other comps that put thier hand up to play is fantastic we dont have this .Our clubs mostly dont train properly ,no coaching, lack of support,no sponsers, its a tuff world out thier for all iam sure of that without these things we have very little to offer . The average age of our players is increasing by the hour the young ones that are keen to play sport in most cases do not happen our way Why? .I have put my hand up to help where i can this season and i hope i have not let anyone down.Never having really met Tige or cuzzy before I can now say that they are two of the Highest Quality Blokes you could ever hope to meet we need more just like them no point doing the chit chat back it up with effort I have never been able to talk a stone into a wall always had to bend down and pick it up and place it myself.Thank you to those young Fellas who tried thier best for our comp this year out gunned this time but never threw in the towel great Lads.Thank you to those who choose to knock my selection of the sides put forward behind my back of course you know best .

Never heard anyone knocking your selection other than those who wanted to play but werent selected. Dont stress about that OB. After seeing the work you put in i think you could include yourself in that Highest Quality Bloke category too.

I never knocked the side, but i did question the inclusion of Simon Arnold in the first game.

Its a shame more people don't put their hands up, its a good experience as im sure they all would have realised.

Good on him for having a crack anyway, better to try and fail than to sit back and wonder what if..

Thanks for your kind words Grave Digger, and rest assured that EVERYONE has appreciated everything you have done for us this season.

I know that my methods often seem misguided and i am often taken the wrong way, but all i want is a strong comp. back again.
Looking at the program now, imagine if Fitzroy did go to turf then we would have lost 3 teams there, that takes us to 21 teams. Next season with the loss of Paralowie ( although i have a feeling something is going to happen there ) Brooklyn Park, have heard of a cloud over Wingfield and the Panthers, there's another 4 teams. That would take us to 17 teams. Not far away from my predicted two divisions of 6.

Magpies is right. A clubs success is not only measured by how many flags you have won, but your numbers, youth coming through ect. ect. At the rate that PV is going at then we have maybe 5 years til we are down to 1 team. If you look at our A's i think over half of us are on the wrong side of 30, and yes, i am concerned for our future as a club and i guess that why we have chosen to look at ALL of our options.

Put together a compisite side and you may be competitive in B1 ATCA. You fellas need to have no worries and just rock up and play cricket each week. Seems to me all the comp managers are still players. Find a ground and if you have the foundations at your club continue on in a league that is ran for you,or have a fading interest in your league and watch it wipe out your comp. ATCA or PDCA are the options. No disrespect to anybody playing in the Churches league. Good luck to all.

Would be a little bit better than B1 I can asure you. ;) Having played numerous years in the ATCA, I too can see that comp is under the pump for numbers as well. The big clubs of Brighton and Payneham haven't got the numbers they once had, several turf clubs have fallen away big time in Gepps X, Marion and Kilburn. I don't think the SACCA is on it's own with dwindling numbers, as it's happening right across that state. Unfortunately cricket is a dying game and I don't think there is any quick or long term solution to the problem at hand. I wish there was :(

The fact that the association has disabled the batting and bowling statistics on both the CCCA website and My Cricket. Sure, you can look at each individual club on My Cricket, but this is simply not the same as having full association stats on the screen at once.

This is the time of year where everyone wants a look and they are a very important reference tool going into finals. Who cares about keeping the trophy winners a secret? Everyone knows already who won the batting and bowling in every division, why cover it up? I wanna know who the bowlers to look out for are this weekend, which batsmen are the most important wicket etc. etc. etc. and we just can't.

Very annoying.

Surely that's put to a vote from the delegates.
