It certainly takes the pressure of finding umpires and support staff and makes more sense. I am a little perplexed as to what the league is trying to do with C5 this year. Seems a shame to lose all those triple headers that worked so well last year in C5, especially after not even discussing it with any of the clubs involved.
Just because Plympton, Luthies and HV finished top 3 last year, doesn't mean we will all be any good this year?? Putting teams up and down divisions should only be in line with your A/B grade sides. C grade sides should be put in divisions that help those particular clubs out the most. Not just to suit what the SAAFL wants...
very well put... last year worked so well and it was so much easier finding people to help with the triplle headers... it was very dificult to find help and on some occasions to find players when it wasn't a triple header!!!!
as i said in a previous post im not around pfc much anymore, but i know they would be very disapointed that there will not be as many triple headers. the revenue for the club was good on these days and the c's got to watch the a's and b's which is relly good...
i personally feel all c grade games should be played at 1215 so the lads can go back and watch most of the a's..
