Big 3 pt play. Get a lead here with Lebron off as you said Graham, then D Rose is back on to bring us home.

Nice break now for Chicago, but both teams doing their best to mess things up. Gibson missing a dunk and a layup, separated by a stupid Bosh pass. Little chaos probably suits LeBron more than anyone else. Rose needs to start taking control of the bulls, slow down the play a little, settle into their plays and make sure the bulls are taking good shots OR getting to the free throw line.

James down, but seriously, what were the refs doing? All season they've been calling a bloke slapping his arm in frustration at not getting a call as demonstrable behaviour and Rose does the same thing and nothing called? I think the rule sucks, but if it's a rule it should be called all season, not just part of it, not just on some and not just early in a game.

They pick and choose those calls, the rule does suck and they should just scrap it I reckon.

Huge 3 by Korver, bout time he hit one.

Deng hits a massive 3 pointer. If he misses that you have to expect Bulls can't win in regulation. Deng has had a good game. I don't particularly like him as a player, tends to be far to inconsistent for my liking but tonight has been one of his "on" nights.

James with a terrible shot with 10 seconds left! Game over now.

Not sure why Wade came to help on Rose, James had kept him very well coralled. Either rose puts up a shot that James probably rejects (what Miami want) or Rose kicks it out to a wide open shooter who has had a good night (what Chicago want) and Wade plays into Chicago's hands.

Chicago just more composed down the stretch and had more contributors. Miami should be bitterly disappointed. Their best 2 players shoot over 50% with a couple of rushed shots and the support cast with less pressure shoots 24%. Bosh showed all the traits of a wannabe superstar overplaying his role. Seriously, 1-18? And a few Miami players very guilty of cracking under pressure near the end.

Very, very good win by Chicago. To win playoff games, they will have to get wins exactly like this when Rose isn't able to knock down shots. Deng, Boozer, Noah and Asik 38 rebounds (Miami 39, 10 to James) 17-30 between them were magnificent supporting Rose.

Interesting to note the +/- of the players. James +3, as were a few Miami starters. Apart from Deng, no Chicago starter had a + but the bench battle was massively in favour of Chicago.

After seeing how well James was able to guard Rose down the stretch, will be very interesting to see a 7 game playoff series between these two teams. I still think Miami will come the goods in the end, but it'll be one of the more strategic matchups of the post season. Both teams seem a bit more able than most to close off the strengths of the other, but that always just opens opportunities elsewhere.

We had 22 bench points to 2 and Asik had a +17 with 11 boards.

We tried to organise a few trades but everyone wanted either Asik or Gibson, glad we didn't give them up as they are both awesome off the bench and give us much needed size. Especially when the playoffs roll around.

Bosh's 1/18 is the first in 25 years I think.
