So he could play up in virtual anonymity?

They won't let him into America once he ticks the 'have you ever played for Carlton' box.

There's a solution - he could play drunk and still dominate there - until he gets carried off with liver failure...

Will not happen. When looking at Aussie punters these days, US clubs look to Darren Bennett for his recommendation. Bennett has stated that he would never recommend Fevola for one reason, his inability to do what he is told. He claims there is a lot of discipline involved in punting, sacrificing self for team advancement, but he claims Fevola's desire to be the focus of attention and do his own thing suggests he could not handle this role.

We only have to see recent events to understand what Bennett is talking about. His management and doctors tell Fevola not to gamble in any way, but he does it anyway. They tell him not to go to the US on holiday at this time, but he does it anyway. People talk about alcohol, gambling, drugs, etc, but IMHO, his biggest problem is his inability to listen and learn.

I mentioned on these boards a couple of years back what a brain dead idiot Fevola was (based on things I knew he'd done) and was howled down by all the precious princes park boys on the board. Where are they now???? :D

The real reason he left Carlton was along the lines of Wayne Carey.
Fev is not a nice person (great footballer though)
Kept in-house very well.

Where are they now...
Fev - struggling to even stay on list at VFL
the other guy - top 3 B&F 2010

Good decision Carlton.

No doubt they are rolling on the ground in laughter after gaining Kane Lucas and Lochie Henderson for a guy who might not end up getting a gig for Casey.

I want to say first up the guy is a knob. However, I saw that interview last night and he clearly is not well, a close family member of mine is alcoholic and is on similar medication to that Fev is on. It was wierd watching him and his excuses because they are almost word for word the same as we have heard for years now. The drinking in my family members instance cost him his house, job and wife. He also liked a punt and its funny how Fev mentioned that he was $350K up and lost it all in a day, to justify this he tells himself he started with $1K so he only lost that, WRONG. Everything he said and the way he says it is spoken like a true addict. He should not even be thinking about playing footy or gridiron, he needs to get right. I wouldnt want him at my club. Carlton and Brisbane could only do so much for him, he is not smart enough to realise how good he had it. If my employer said to me, ill pay you 1mill over three years, in turn all i had to do was not drink, I would be a healthy man!!

Why anyone attempts to help that guy I will never know. He just keeps doing what he wants to do, whenever he wants to, and to hell with everyone else.

Gutter journalism

Next headline will be "Fevola reputedly trying to have a shit, but he couldn't as we were pushing our reporters microphone under the cubicle door"

Who gives a ****. Move on people.....

He's a complete d!ckhead lets be honest, the media should just turn their back on him like his wife has done.
He's a loser & he's finished as an AFL footballer, end of story.
