Berri is finally getting an Indian restaurant which opens this week and I can't wait. The owner ran restaurants in Sydney prior to this so hopefully it's the ants pants.

You'll have to hold on to your taste buds.
Not opening just yet BC, sadly.

Curry Corner for me again last night.

I get them to make me a curry of their choice. They do something which isn't on the menu, and it's always a killer !

Love 'em !

When living in Malvern [Victoria] I found a place called "The Hot Pot" just off Glenferrie Rd.
It was more of a take away than a dine in place, but the fact that most of the customers were Indian was a clue that it was worth a try.

I found a good Indian restaurant in Singapore when I'd become sick of Chinese and Halal offerings by following an Indian couple into a Mall at lunch time.
The manager popped out while I was perusing the menu in the window and asked if I was looking for something not on it.
By arrangement he prepared a Mutton Vindaloo for my wife and I at 6pm that day.

A few days later we popped in un-booked and he apologised that they were booked out for two Indian wedding receptions, but after a quick chat with the families he found us spot on the side and served us selections from the wedding feasts.
We also go to see the ceremonial dancing on both sides of the partition he had put up to divide the groups.

We're a frequent eater of Ruby Raja's. However, we've got Beyond India just up the road from us. Looooove the Do Piaz and Beef Chennai which Ruby's don't do. The Chennai is the best of the lot IMO even though I'm a tindaloo lover.
