Yes I heard the Buffalos got burned by a Prospect washout in the one day competition. The deck is really good at Prospect now compared to a few seasons ago, shame the covers don't seem to be up to scratch.

Tough day for your guys by the sound of it. Was always going to be a tough period once that excellent team from the 2000's was winding up (L Williams, S Williams, Davies, Johnson, Agars, Lenthall, Job, Gillespie all gone or near the end of their careers). Did I see Raphael in the B's?

Struggling for form at the minute, but did post a 50 odd today at Woodville.

On the Prospect issue not sure if its to do with covers. Prospect Oval does not take to water well and it looks like that any rain during the week makes it difficult to get a deck up in time.

Wow! Great game. Skewes has been in good form lately.

Heard that the Bays beat Southern District in the other semi so it's a Glenelg vs Woodville final.

Heard Adelaide were 7/26 batting against Woodville at Glandore

Propect vs Kensington washed out at Prospect Oval.

Adelaide finished up all out 80ish Woodville were 2/75 in reply at about 4.30 pm. Not Sure the Buffalos can sink any lower, Injuries/commitment issues have decimated the bowling attack through out the grades with yours truly being one on the injured list

The Washout is hardly surprising given the venue

SAyers 8/30

Him and Opie both have 8 wicket hauls this season

Any idea how many grade venues are council prepared ?
One of Prospects biggest issue appears to be getting anything done at all when weather is around..
That goes for practice decks as well...

Jets are council, Port are council plus Prospect. Uni are council I think though I'm pretty sure their staff are basically exclusively working for the Uni Sports Association.

Not sure about Gullies or Glenelg.

WT, Kensi, ET, SD and Sturt have their own curator.

Adel and Wdv both outsource to the same company (who do a great job).

TTG have their own curator and has assistants(volunteers) who help.

Surely at that level it should not be a cost saving exercise to use council services..
Wouldn't clubs want the ability to have their curator there on a saturday morning to get a game going if need be ??

Unlucky for Skewes 99no, I heard Kensington need 20 off the last 2 overs, landed 2 runs short! Sounded like a cracker!
Yeh Glenelg got up over the Stingrays down at Bice chasing 163, also heard that one fella from Southerns went down during warm ups, and had to call up(and wake) another Rays players to fill the void!
Should be a a great game the final, might have to lurk my way down to watch that one 8)

Rather weird sight at Buffalo training tonight - Andrew Zesers made an appearance

Not sure what for though as Adelaide are staring down the barrel of 2 outright defeats in succession and no one is hardly setting the world on fire  :?

oh well can't blame them for not getting out and about in Grade circles any more I have seen them with my own eyes :)

We had Granny Wymann out at TTG the other week. I think the SACA are checking how the clubs are training and the standard of coaching etc. Bit late in the season to make changes if its not up to standard

Hi, Sceptical.

Was planned before Christmas.

I can appreciate some scepticism on behalf of Grade clubs but the fact is that the entire cricket department has worked far smarter (through working together in teams as well as being better resourced) in the last 12 months than ever before. Nothing in sports admin shows results immediately and what has happened this year WILL bear fruit given even half a chance by Grade clubs.
