Things I Learnt on SAFooty.net this week

1)        Its OK to laugh and make fun of someone who gets injured during a sporting event but if they get injured training for that sporting event its a tragedy.
2)        Despite getting its largest ever crowds and largest ever total club memberships people are leaving the AFL in "droves" due to their disenchantment with the game.
3)        Sponsors that get free extra national exposure are insulted but sponsors that pay the same amount of money for only local exposure are extremely happy.
4)        No prizemoney is OK but $180,000 in prizemoney is an insult
5)        Whilst I thought pink or rainbow tops may be gay I was wrong, white is gay.
6)        All boat people are gay, rich, receive much more than any pensioners and have 6 star accomodation accompanying the latest in home entertainment and are offered amounts ofphone calls that could make our country bankrupt.
7)         The Adelaide Oval development may not go ahead, who would have thunk it?
8)         Man is to blame for bad weather but good weather is just Mother Nature.

What an educational site this is!

If you want to comment on any political issues its fine to bag the Liberal party - state or federal - but if you dare mention any criticism of anything the Green/Labor coalition dream up you will be hammered from all quarters. This is a very left-leaning forum, which is fine with me i couldn't give a stuff about politics, They (politicians) are mostly controlled by union or party lines so we (tax payers) never get the best results in return for the squillions we pay them anyway so like a lot of people I just cop it sweet.

Plenty of good right-leaning posters in the politics forum.

Perhaps you feel 'hammered' by rational answers instead of blind confirmation of your arguments.

That's what the forum is there for.

Shouldn't matter, though, as you couldn't give a stuff about politics.

Nah I didn't Booney, thanks for the heads up!

DW, material like this seems to be a bit more plentiful the week of a full moon, I'm not sure if there'd be enough material in other weeks!
