Barca were awesome in the 1st half. I think at one stage they passed the ball for more than 3 mins. One touch football was incredible and put Milan's tactics, last night, to shame.

Not sure Wenger will let them lose sight of the league comp. Think there is a bit of wishful thinking there Jim.

Arsene would love to steal the title from under Fergie's nose.

It is wishful thinking but i reckon if arsenal managed to get over barca then all of the sudden europe becomes massive and that elusive european cup will take a bit of attention away from the league.
I know united had a bad reputation for playing poorly the weekend after playing in europe but we seem to have rectified that in the last couple of seasons, hopefully arsenal have a couple of slip ups

Correct Bully. They are there to assist on corners, goal line clearances and penalties, although one at the Arsenal end gave a Barca corner when it was clearly a goal kick and he was only 3 feet away. Christ, even ITV spotted it

Whatched the Chelsea game and wished I hadn't bothered. After the Spurs and Arsenal games, this was drivel
Torres out of form. Drogba clearly not interested and how the hell Copenhagen had gone 2 years without losing at home in the CL is beyond me.
Chelsea should win at a canter in the 2nd leg but they don't look like the Chelsea of 6 months ago

Dead right there. Chelsea played the weakest side left in the comp. Absolute borefest, they will smash them in return leg but on todays performance cant see them going much further.
The funny thing is ancelotti thought they were good today and was quoted as saying that if they play like today they will easily beat manchester united next week. Give me a break, if they play like that against united they will lose 5-0

United had a gutsy 0-0 draw away to Marseille.

Super Mario scored late for Bayern as they beat Inter in Italy 1-0 and should go through from here.

Sorry I forgot the

Sounds like a boring game, only caught a little bit of it before I went to work. At least we didn't lose I guess but an away goal would have been nice.

No surprise though, our away form in England is bad so didn't expect much on the continent.

Another poor game. I guess we were spoilt with the Spurs and Arsenal games but I didn't see anything last night to suggest either of these two will go far.

United will be the happier but playing berbatov up on his own with Both the midfield and defence being so deep meant United were never going to score. Berbatov isn't a forward who will chase back or fight for the ball. He needs players around him who can lay it on a plate.

Rooney was so deep at times he was coming for the ball from his own back 4. That tactic works when you have someone like Drogba, but not Berbatov.

Pretty sure Fergie will change the tactics for the home leg and go on to win comfortably
