Simon Phillips Injured Again

Postby MagareyLegend » Wed Feb 16, 2011 10:42 pm

Unfortunately for Norwood supporters Simon Phillips has broken his jaw again this time in two places at Power's training today.

Ok.

I was just checking that it had more accuracy than your Bamford thread.

Good point you got me there that wasn't a good one was it? Actually it may have been Greg Phillips :)

But in all seriousness this is really sad for the young fella.

I agree, very disappointing, hopefully he can make a comeback soon, won't be easy for him after another setback though.

Terrible news for Flip who had done the hard yards to try and better his career .. Hopefully it won't be the case, but in my experience many players who suffer broken jaws often don't ever return to the same playing level they had previously.

Magarey Legend, how did he manage to bust his jaw at training? Would be disappointing for him, obviously.

Phillips will have scans today after taking a knock to the jaw yesterday. Yet to be confirmed if there is indeed a break.

So, whoever told you broken in two places is full of....

Do Callinan and Phillips train together or something? It's a weird question otherwise.

Good luck to Flip, hope he bounces back in a hurry.

I feel sorry for the bloke this time, to happen at training is very unlucky and after doing the hard yards at pre season deserved a crack in the Power line-up.

I wasnt there and obviously havent seen what caused the break again BUT i would interested to know if there was a lack of awareness again on Phillips behalf.

In a game situation if someone is hit FAIRLY i have no sympathy for a person like a said at the time.

For it to happen at training when no ones expects to much contact and by your team mate is very unlucky and unfortunate for the bloke.
