Well, I did say yes to the first offer - free games on Buckhunter every Thursday night!

Market is in progress.

i did say his name was mo$ar..there is absolute madness going on..and i fear for the long term effects down the track for clubs that go down this path..if you are paying out 2k + a week in payments thats over 36k for a year!..and thats not including what is paid to a coach or a greedy assistant! its blinded lunacy..how desperate can a club be to have to buy success at this rate?? especially when clubs have juniors they should be promoting and playing..not imported mercenaries who are over hyped and wont be there 18 months later!

I don't see any problem with it if they can comfortably afford it.

So what positon does Mo$ar play and what clubs has he played for?

Sorry Boosh, but from now on, whenever you type 'Mosar' you must use the '$' in place of the 's'

very surprised to see you say that boosh..you think coughing up 40k a year in payments is ok?..what could your club do with a spare 40k ? buy a few footballs with that i reckon..

do you see pokies at KFC or clubrooms doing meals every night of the week? no..it is not self sustaining and it ends when the money pit dries up..

mo$er is from hackham. Not the greatest of recruiting grounds! 40k a year on players, where does this coin come from?

Is the money coming directly from the club, or could it be from sponsors who are wanting to give money purely for recruits?

Blake has pretty decent skills but $300 is a bit over the top. Id have to say i was pretty surprised when he won the Hackham B&F last year. There were at least two better players than him. Out of the 3 years i played with him, last year was his worst, yet was the first time he won the B&F...my theory is Hackham knew he wanted to leave, which may have influenced the votes...

But saying that, he would be a decent FF, CHF or CHB in any team...

Only if they can comfortably afford it. If they pay their fees to be in the league and all other bills, provide decent facilities for the players and still have 60k in the bank each season they have the right to spend at least 40k on their playing list.

In saying that Zedman, I would be absolutely astonished if that were the case at Kenilworth.

If they win a couple premierships it might be all worth it though

Mo$$ar is not half as good as he thinks he is! He's grown a MASSIVE head from being an ok player in an ordinary team. And if he thinks he's ever going to improve by going to a div 6 amateur league club from Hackham he's a clown!

Dont know about that boosh. Yeah the premierships are great, but one the coin dies off if its not sustained (dependant on the source of the money of course)...the fall back through the divisions will be twice as quick.

Agreed, they are great to win, but if you win a flag and rock up to pre-season the following year and half the side has left because the money dried up.....its a lot less valuable than building a side from scratch and winning it and knowing all blokes were there for the right reasons....

And from the clubs perspective....climbing up the divisions involves so much hardwork and time, yet takes stuff all to fall down them twice as fast.
