Tailem Bend

Too early to really know but the top 3 will not change.

Imperials
Mannum
Ramblers

Both Jervois and Tailem Bend to vastly improve and perhaps Mypolonga and Meningie to fall away a bit, so the bottom four will battle amongst themselves.
Still, the bottom four places in this competition are seemingly irrelevant in terms of true premiership contenders.

Where is this improvement coming from Drama? Is Wark an In?

Tailem can only improve, I couldn't imagine the team getting any worse. I understand Wark and Bowen have been training with Tailem, so yes they are ins. Ray and Owen Love are both ins for Tailem too, but that's about all I know.

Interesting about Meningie, it must have slipped through my radar that Jaime Austin was playing there. Maybe I'll alter my list to cement Meningie as number 4 with Jervois, Tailem and Mypo rounding out the bottom 3.

[*]Ramblers- 4 Quality outs, with 3 Quality ins, but Luke & Ben are HUGE losses [*]1 up
How does 4 out and 3 in make you one up Goldy

[*]Imperials- Lost Burger, but Sayers has been training, & 3 or 4 to Peake which will test their depth more so then previous years ? on their recruits, [b]but you can be sure they will get some $[b][*]
Strange comment that, i would assume most clubs pay their recruits dont they.Think its been well documented that Fitzgerald has gone and Trewren and Davey have been recruited.

Meningie- Jamie Austin is a star, & with Noske, & Stuey returning from season ending injuries, big improvers. Only lost Rossi now! 2 up

Imperials- Lost Burger, but Sayers has been training, & 3 or 4 to Peake which will test their depth more so then previous years ? on their recruits, but you can be sure they will get some $

Mypo- 4 Quality In's, but lost Eckermann & Lynn, so should be a better side then last year, with improvement from their kids. If Eckermann doesn't make it, look out top 3. 2 up maybe more

Jervois- 4 Quality Ins, but Braun off to Wakerie 3 up

Tailem- Nothing seem to be going right for Tailem, if the sturt recruits come that will help dramatically, but look to struggle ?

So you think Meningie will finish above Imps if I'm reading this right?

I’m interested in your views on Imperials, Goldburg. The three out to Peake are O’Brien, Blake Harrowfield and Lewis-Burns, not exactly first tier players by Imperials standards. You say Burger is out but Sayers has been training, so I don’t think Imps have lost much in that regard. And we all know from experience Imps always fill the gaps, even bringing in players mid-season when they need to.

This was my exact reason for the $ sign on my previous post. Yes we all pay, ofcourse we do  was just taking a cheap shot mate, all in good fun!

As for Meningie, Yeah I think if Noske & Ferenchi both suit up, & Austin x2 get cleared (especially Jamie) that makes them look like a genuine top 3 contender for sure. Especially if they haven't lost any1 other then Rossi.

Its all guess work, until much closer to season start, but the list looks strong

Imps will always be around the mark, & could quite easily finish top. I think we should all re-visit this in about 9 weeks ;)

Where are Barras and Dalwood from? Your hesitation in revealing the 3rd player is somewhat confusing yet intriguing... I can only assume the reason why his identity is still concealed is due to the fact a signature is not yet inked on paper?

I presume Dalwood is the ruckman who played there a couple of years ago.

Barras I think is from Bordertown.

According to the clearances list, Shepherd is another one to have gone from Meningie.

have heard Wark is on around $1200 a game... another quailty player lost from the SANFL for just the coin, considering he had almost played 100 league games before he hit 22 could really have been a player to hit the rare 300 game mark in the modern era!!

Wasn't the reasoning for him leaving Sturt he had made this decision well before Tailem talked to him.

Talem to struggle, only got one love and he wont get through all minor rounds.
Mypo big improvers and the Bears look to have a solid foundation considering their ins.
Top three to remain the same but more challenges this year.

Any info on Jervois' ins other then the big 4.

Shaun Bath from- AFL Queensland 3 points
Luke Burns- SAAFL 2-3 points
Scott McEvoy- SAAFL 2-3 points
Tony Reneberg- SAAFL 2-3 points

Thats 9-12

Unless any of these are locals that seems like alot if they are all A Graders. & with the big 4 points:

Coulter- 3
Ladham x2- 6
White- 3

Thats 12............... 12+9=21 or 12+12=24

Not sure you can say Dalwood is a quality in for Ramblers. No doubt he can play but I believe he is having an ankle cleanout which may limit how much footy he actually plays, if any at all.

Shaun Bath played junior footy at Jervois so he should be 0 points.

Here's a question.... how many points do former redlegs players attract??

Also, can anyone post the clearances link? Paul Sano an out for mannum?
