BIG BASH FINAL

# The teams have met in five Twenty20 matches, of which South Australia have only won one - in Newcastle four years ago
# Aiden Blizzard will be playing in his fifth Big Bash final - more than any other individual - having turned out in four for Victoria
# The two leading run scorers in the tournament this year are both playing in this game - Warner has 277 runs at 55.40, while the South Australian opener Daniel Harris has made 256 at 51.20
# Last time South Australia won any silverware - the 1995-96 Sheffield Shield - their fast bowler Kane Richardson was five years old

# Jonathan Trott needs 108 runs in this match to break the world record for the most runs in a bilateral ODI series

# Cameron White will become the 19th man to captain Australia in ODIs, a list that also features unlikely names such as Ray Bright and David Hookes

In the recent Wellington Test, Daniel Vettori scored a century in the first innings and then conceded hundred runs while bowling during Pakistan's first innings. Turns out that it is a rather rare occurrence. Vettori at Basin Reserve was only the 48th time in 1991 Tests that a player has scored a century, and conceded at least 100 runs in an innings, during the same match.Vettori's done it twice before as well.

What was Mike Hussey's average in the Ashes series?
Know it should be easy to find, but can't find it.

Brod there wouldn't be many players who have about half of their international wickets at World Cups despite having played in ODI's before and after that world cup surely.

Didn't Tait take about 25 wickets in the WIndies?

1 - SA batsmen averaging 40+ in Shield this season (Blizzard 41.33)
1 - SA bowlers averaging less than 35 in Shield this season (George 22.94) - min 5 wickets

compare to top of the table NSW

4 - NSW batsmen averagin 40+ (min 200 runs, there are 2 more who have scored between 140-160 runs)
9 - NSW bowlers averaging less than 35 - min 5 wickets

I wonder why we are playing for last spot??

Brod,

My favorite ZIMBABWEAN, Tatenda Taibu...

I remember him bowling a bit a few years ago (in an ODI), but I look at his stats, and he has a first class eight-wicket haul.

Do you know of any player who's had a decent length career as a keeper, to have such good stats?
