Good news on Ferg but bad luck to Hauritz, finally gets looked at again by the selectors and then does his shoulder.

Praveen Kumar, the India fast bowler, has been ruled out of the World Cup due to an injured elbow and will be replaced by Sreesanth. The decision comes a day after Praveen underwent a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to gauge whether he had recovered from the injury sustained before the start of the one-day series in South Africa last month.

Chris Tremlett, the England fast bowler, will fly out to Bangladesh as a traveling reserve with England's World Cup squad. He has recovered from a side strain, and will be on stand-by to be added to the 15-man squad in the event that the selectors need to replace an injured player.

Zimbabwe batsman Tino Mawoyo has been ruled out of the 2011 World Cup due to an abdominal muscle tear, and Terry Duffin has been named his replacement. Mawoyo played two ODIs for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh in 2006 and was himself a replacement for allrounder Sean Ervine, who opted out of the tournament due to personal reasons.
