I guess the issue is, if they know they may be in trouble, it may be wiser to stay down. Look at Kilburn coming up to Div 2, then shooting back down 3 div's. Or Seaton, Woodville South etc. I can have a huge effect down the track if your team cops a pasting every week and drops a Division. Plus, with some of the history of EP, getting belted every week may infact cause the other team to also cop a belting, if you get my drift.

Not sure you'll be overly popular at EP with a comment like this.[/quote]

Only commenting on past experiences from watching our games and games of others. If that's gonna cause them to get angry then it proves my point.

although IMO i believe it would be a good choice by EP to do this as yes playing div1 would be a fantastic achievement for the lads and the club but is it worth getting your pants pulled down everyweek? it may send the club backwards

what are peoples thoughts on the difference between div1 and 2? for mine its a fair gap between the top clubs in div 1 to the top sides in div2 but hey thats just my opinion.

Ok just got a call with similar info and think it may be from a different source. There used to be some EP posters on here but haven't seen them for a while (other than whufc COYI!) hopefully they can clear it up.

Just let you know i play another sport at EPFC and have many mates there but i dont have a single thing to do with the football side of things there so i would only be going on little bits and pieces i get told.

Would not be surprised if people on here knew alot more than i do.

But like i said knowing a few players i would be surprised if they chose to go down to div2.

From my eperiences the club has to much character to do that but hey i could be wrong.

I know a few people at EPFC who are involved in the football side of things and this is the first place i have heard this rumour, so until it is confirmed from someone who is involved at the EPFC ill just take it as a mere rumour.

I have spoken with various EPFC A graders since pre season recommenced and even though they have lost a few they are all looking forward to the opportunity at playing the highest level of amatuer footy.

I'm thinking along the same lines as Cossi, those guys in the A Grade at EP have worked really hard over the last few years to get themselves to Div 1, very much doubt they would choose to stay in Div 2 instead of having a crack at Div 1. May not be their decision though, I'm not sure.

Have heard the new caoch is not allowing a few or the boys who are trying to go elsewhere leave, sightingthey are required players and a few have a year to go on thier contracts.

No there isn't the web mag does show it once that is up and going. Also I think the SAAFL will be switching to the sporting pulse system at some stage as well.

We have Adam Wilson from Port Districts and Ben Weekley from Mitchell Park. Still working on a few. We've got a really good turn out from our 16's from 2 years ago we didn't have 18's last year so good to them around. Lost a couple Rina Crane to Murrayville and Remy Horsfall to Tassie and a couple blokes training at league clubs but we'll wait and see on them

Good skills question mark over his attitude and heart. Goes to the wrong spot and yells for the ball and if he doesn't get it watch out.
Get rid of his father talking to him at end of each quarter his attitude could change.
He is a good kid had alot to learn, but I know coaches aren't to sad to see him leave.

You wouldn't believe how much it annoyed the coach and also players when you would be heading into the huddle and his old man drags him away to talk to him. As much as you would tell his dad he still would continue to do it.
Make sure ur b grade coach nips it in the bud early cos it can and will become a distraction to the team.

Henley have picked up Rex and Kempf both from Seaton.

Imagine both would play A grade at some stage.

Kempf hasnt played for a few seasons cause of his ban, be interesting to see how he will go.
Good player but think he will spend almost all his time in the 2's at henley.
