Many thanks to the Umpire and South road boys today for their part in the minutes silence before play to remember David "sleazy" Lee.

In answer to your question there ab, or should i say deep heat ;) ah NO i never wore a G banger whilst playing as i would often crap myself when batting and it offers no protection!!

That will be a interesting chase for Cove. 180 against the sharks isn't easy to chase down.

Our top order finally batted well as a group on Saturday.

Great effort to get 7/256 against the bays who bowled quite well and the oval was far from quick. Hopefully our guys can defend it and help secure a finals berth.

Making 192 with AF only making four was a big confidence boost for the ramblers. Ferris top scoring with 48 with archie making 31 batted really well. Fair bit of credit should go to the opening bowler from plympton who bowled 33 overs and took 6 for. why pritchard only bowled 4 overs and shute only 3 was a mystery to us tho. as always plympton are the best hosts of anyone in the comp, providing roles for lunch. thanks guys look forward to it this saturday

What role did you play at lunch Caleb :D  ?.

Not sure how making 192 against Plympton could provide a confidence boost, although i think it will be plenty for you guys to win with.

Haha, they were yummy rolls. i think just getting some runs from blokes not called m smith was the best thing about it. plympton are fielding a very young side. i was most impressed with the other opener called mele. bowled better then the other bloke who took 6 for, just didnt have any luck.

We had to buy those rolls! But the cordial was good.

From 2/7 I would take 192 any day. Certainly room for improvement there still.

That's a bit harsh, what about the spread you got from Morphies both weeks and beers after the game as well. I know we're a bunch of pricks but you can't fault the afternoon tea!

Tips for this week boys with games half way through:

WYC (hopefully our bowlers continue their great season and knock off Glenelg)
Morphys (should win easy).
ICC (not sure what Cove boys are out, but should win)
Plympton (Pritchards the key as he has done SFA all year. Selfe to contribue 30) - Ramblers could win this easily though, but one bowler short i do believe
Coromandel (141 a good score on that pitch)
Sheidow (should account for Westminster)

agree with you on this one CK, i reckon with the state of the outfield and infield on saturday, 160 would have been a very good achievement from 75 overs... you know how it was slow when you blokes played us? it was 10 times worse on saturday as it hadnt been cut in a long time. councils efforts up here are terrible... we have contacted them to ask for it to be cut shorter but theyre incredibly set in their ways and stubborn! should be a good tight game this sat

Jeeze it was slow that day ay? we would prob rather see Keswick win, and if we beat ANA it would be extremely hard for us to miss the 4, but good luck anyways ;)

Don't know why they call you guys pricks we think your a good bunch of blokes. But geez your supporters don't give you a easy time whilst the game is going. To their credit though they are a bit nicer after we beat you. Haven't been there when we have lost in front of your crowd though :D .
