nothing wrong with balfours pies/pasties . vilis are worse.

Oh I agree totally with the Vilis thing. They are dreadful. But Balfours pies these days are beyond me - I can't eat them at all.
The pasties are ok.

Yeah I've done that a few times, very interesting just reading about how Adelaide used to be in our formative years. You can also very quickly see why the Advertiser is called that!

Reading papers from the war time years is a bit of an eye opener!
