Seriously do you all think that hit and giggle carp counts as silverware?

Go and take your self somewhere else.

The redbacks have been an embarresment for 20 years mate. If you think this has all changed just coz they won a hit and giggle comp then you are a dill.

You know when you dont have much success in cricket in this state, there is nothing wrong with embracing any sort of success that comes your way, in any form, and it just happens that although T20 Big bash isnt the purest form of cricket, it seems to be the most financially rewarding.
So dont know the Redbacks winning this, someone had to and im glad it was us!

Im not a fan either and neither is anyone I know. The youth of today are so impatient, maybe that is why they like this format of the game that requires no skill.

and $100,000.00 is nothing to sneeze at either. Winning is better than losing, why not be happy? Or have you forgotten?

So you dont like the grand stand either? :? Personally i think its a beauty.
As for buying interstate players, well if thats what is required to gain more success then im all for it, create a successfull winning culture and enviroment and then we can filter it back through to grade level and hopefully breed it.

Piss off knobhead. If that doesn't excite you, you're not South Australian.

Look at it this way, the Sheffield Shield matches draw no crowd whatsoever, this match drew about 20,000. Whether you like it or not, it brings new interested spectators to the game, spectators that might want to give the game a go, maybe then go on to play Shield or Test cricket, that's gotta be a good thing, surely.
